Beautiful inn. Right on the lake. Great views. Hotel personnel were very friendly. Room was a little small but adequate. Comes with a free hot breakfast every morning. Each breakfast was fabulous. Great service and food. Nice location to travel around to other sites like Mount Greylock, the Shrine of the Divine Mercy, Stockbridge, etc. Hotel also offers kayaks and paddle boards to use on the lake for free.

Beautiful spot overlooking a lake (hence the name) which I swam in - heavenly! Our room was very large and incredibly comfortable with great views of the lake and lovely bed, double sink bathroom and fluffy robes and slippers - great! Lovely breakfasts, lots of options all freshly made. Staff unerringly friendly, helpful and informative. Near pretty towns/villages like Lenox and Stockbridge and interesting cultural places including Tanglewood, Edith Wharton home and Norman Rockwell museum etc... and wonderful parks to walk in woods. We also ate out well locally with fresh good food.

A WONDERFUL escape from the Cape! The staff is the BEST! The view! The breakfast! I could have spent the whole time in the wonderful king sized bed - sheets were fantastic! Room was spotless and the Inn exudes warmth. You cannot go wrong if you want that special spot overlooking the lake - Lee is a wonderful little town - easy access to hiking and skiing.

I had a great first experience staying at this beautiful facility. It is very well located between Lenox and Lee, very clean, beautiful views and great service including the delicious Breakfast. I look forward to staying there in my next trip to the area.

We have nothing to say except it was a terrific experience. The staff was helpful, interesting, and friendly. The Inn was clean and functional with unbelievable views. And the breakfast was a terrific experience thanks to the excellent choices and warm hospitality of the staff. We would return with no hesitation and recommend the Inn to anyone who would like a wonderful B & B experience! Thanks again to everyone!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, from welcome peach/sangria to our parting hearty delicious fresh breakfast. Staff was very welcoming and genuinely warm, particularly Lori and Paige. Great convenient location on peaceful lake(kayaks were fun). Complimentary warm brownie and ice cream and cognac was a great way to cap the day.

We just completed a lovely five night stay at the Lakehouse. We had a second floor suite which was great. We appreciated the two televisions and the ample lighting after our four other trips this year featured accommodations too dim for reading. The option of choosing breakfast from a menu each day as well as sides was very nice as are the treats offered daily—afternoon sangria and divine brownies and evening cognac and delicious ice cream. The staff was courteous and friendly to the point that as my husband was bringing up his suitcase, he knocked over a wineglass and the woman in the office vacuumed it up immediately!

Stayed here for an extended weekend the week after Labor Day, so the Berkshires were relatively quiet. As others have described, the house is well maintained, the location on the lake is gorgeous, and it is well-situated as it is quick to get to Stockbridge, Pittsfield, etc. The breakfast is great as is the sangria they serve in the afternoons. We were out and about mostly and the mornings were a little chilly so breakfast was set up indoors - I am sure having breakfast overlooking the lake is great! The staff was so pleasant, friendly and helpful. We did not have a window directly facing the road and it was off-peak so did not hear any road noise as others have mentioned; however we did hear a lot of noise from other guests as they walked in the hallway and could almost hear word-for-word conversations from the folks in the room adjacent (who seemed to enjoy speaking loudly and projecting their voices lol).
