We booked last minute and they were still able to accommodate us. And I mean really last minute, an hour’s notice because the hotel we intended to stay at for two nights only lasted one night because we were very unhappy there. We booked the cottage and it was absolutely adorable! Separate from the main building all by itself, it was nice to have our own little space. It was actually our first time at a bed and breakfast and we found it so much nicer than a hotel. They even offered to deliver our breakfast to our room. Five star service for sure! Erika was an amazing hostess, very kind and accommodating. We definitely hope to go back.

This is truly a hidden gem. We stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The hosts were very kind and happy to help with any recommendations for things to do in the area. We had a nice breakfast served in our room both mornings. Our room was neat and clean and the grounds are very well kept. There's even a hiking trail that was pretty neat. We will definitely be coming back.

Peter did a great job welcoming us,doing breakfast and taking a photo of us as we were leaving My only suggestion being a 6'5" man is that the shower needs to be bigger We has a great time and also lucky the cat was a cool cat Highly recommend for a up close and personal experience

Lovely couple running an immaculate B&B. Everything was great. Easy parking (with Juice Box EV charger), VERY close to Foxwoods ****** (and everything else in eastern Connecticut, for that matter.) My room, the "Downeast", had a wood-burning fireplace, a modern bathroom with shower, and a semi-private patio. And wow, was that bed ever comfortable! I stayed 2 nights. I really wish it had been more.

If you are looking to "get out of dodge" with your significant other, Abbey's is the perfect destination. Secluded in nature, but a short drive away from an overwhelming amount of things to do, we found ourselves falling more and more in love with the inn the longer we were there. We stayed for 5 days in September, which offered the most beautiful views of changing leaves, crisp morning air along our hikes, but also still the ability to enjoy some of the last of the activities summer had to offer - boat rides, outdoor festivals, breweries, bonfires etc. The inn was kept very clean and rooms were well appointed. The toiletries provided were high-end, the bed and linens were soft and comfortable, and our room (the Mystic) had a two-person jacuzzi tub appointed with tea light candles. The room also had a microwave and mini fridge which was great for leftovers or late night snacks. Breakfasts were always hot and delicious and the menu/ordering link was always provided the day before. Erika and Peter were kind and accommodating and always available if there was anything we needed. We will certainly be back and would highly recommend Abbey's Lantern Hill Inn.

I handled the anniversary plans this year and got tickets to a show at Foxwoods. When looking for a place for my wife and I to stay, I knew I didn't want to stay at the ****** and began looking for hotels in the area and happened upon this listing for Abbey's Lantern. My wife was so surprised when we pulled into the parking lot. What a gorgeous place. The property immediately welcomes you to the whole experience...beautiful view, very well maintained, coy pond and places to relax outside. We stayed 3 nights and the room (Southwest) was quaint and decorated nicely. It was right by the kitchen if we needed anything, and had a private deck where we ate breakfast each morning. Erika has her breakfast system down pat, providing a menu via email the day before to choose your meal options (changes each day) and time you'd like to eat. Such a pleasant stay. We'll definitely be back.

We decided on Mystic Ct. for an anniversary trip. I found Abbeys Lantern Hill Inn while searching for a place to stay and it was perfect. Easy trip into town and close to Foxwoods if you want to try your luck. Check in was a breeze Erika sent a code for the main entry and room. The room we stayed in was Cadillac and it was perfect , spotless and well stocked with towels and necessities. Room had a queen size bed and large bathroom with whirlpool tub. Off of the room was a large private deck with lounge chairs and table & chairs with umbrella. She really pays attention to detail the house and grounds are meticulously kept. And breakfast is delicious. You won't find a nicer place to stay in Mystic.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Amazing food, setting, and Erica was an amazing host. Comfortable rooms with everything you’d need. We stayed for 3 days but easily would’ve stayed longer. You should stay here instead of anywhere in Mystic.

Every part of our stay was wonderful! It is a hidden gem and not to be missed. We stayed in The Mystic room and were quite comfortable. We purchased the extra charcuterie board on our arrival and it was yummy. The breakfasts were delicious. It is a lovely get away-but near everything. We will be back.
