La Loggia dei Raynò

Clean, modern, quiet room. We stayed in the Levante room which has its own private roof terrace. Be warned, the steps are very steep with a few high steps. But it's lovely when you get there. It's a shame the place no longer provides breakfasts in house as the communal terrace is lovely with some pretty plants. Instead you're given a voucher for a local cafe which is a 3 or 4 minute walk. All you get is a coffee and a croissant or pastry though it is very nice. We had an early start one morning so skipped the cafe breakfast and made our own for which the fridge in the bedroom came in handy. The Loggia does leave out fruit and small cakes/biscuits which is a nice touch. Location wise it's just inside the old town but close enough to the new town for convenient on street  parking. It's a quiet residential street but you can bring your car in at certain times to load and unload.

Anna is a wonderful host Anna was an exceptional host . She greeted us at the door made us a drink when we arrived and gave us complimentary fruit. She gave us a map and lots of recommendations of places to see and eat and drink. The appartment was lovely and modern and I would fully recommend this as somewhere to stay in Lecce

Meeting Anna, our host, was one of the great pleasures of our time in Puglia. She is so warm and welcoming and so helpful and so lovely that she really brightened up the 2 days that we were with her. She also gave us so much useful information about Lecce. From the stairs up to the flat, to the entrance room, to the bedroom, there were attractive decorations everywhere and so many small vases of flowers, that all added to the stylish feel of this property. Our room and en suite were both a very good size, the bed was very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was enormous and delicious and served on the very attractive roof terrace, which we also enjoyed using for relaxing later in the day on the sun beds and hanging basket chairs. And finally, the location is excellent, being very quiet, but very close to the heart of the old city and therefore ideal as a base for exploring. We would not hesitate to recommend La Loggia and look forward to our next stay.
