What a gem! The Timberline was the perfect place for us to stay in Leadville. Easy check in, a cozy bed in a comfortable room, welcoming staff, and an excellent location. This is a special place!

Recently stayed at the Timberline Motel in Leadville, a vintage motor court that has been updated. It had everything we needed and more. Breakfast in not included but there are a number of cafes a few blocks away. Linens and towels were nice and the innkeeper provides more than enough. Room was clean. The night hours were peaceful. There was a hot water kettle for tea and coffee and a small fridge. We were skeptical about the freeze dried coffee but pleasantly surprised and it was good enough to get us going. Nice bath products. Cute minimalist decor. We were able to park right in front of our door. The management texted us when the room was clean so we were able to access our room a bit before check in time.

Our family has been staying at the Timberline for many years, a couple of years ago Nell and Mick bought the Timberline and remodeled the entire motel. They are very accommodating and the rooms are all clean and nice. The motel is in an ideal location being walking distance to the main part of town and many good eating restaurants. If you are looking for a reasonable motel look no further.

We had a fabulous stay at the Timberline Motel! The rooms were updated and the beds very comfortable. Great staff and loved the location. Will be back for sure! Also pet friendly which made it even better:)

The Timberline may be the coolest place we have stayed in the continental U.S.! Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once inside WOW! Totally renovated without losing the charm. I could live in this place.

Very clean, contemporary decor in our room, friendly staff with a great recommendation to The Timeline for dinner. The reason I did not give it 5 stars for everything was because we had terrible internet connections prior to check-in. I was not able to access the room key lock number in my confirmation . The recorded message said they would return calls within 24 hours or sooner. We were lucky to have a quick response and actually met the check-in team who were on sight and very helpful. However, if it had been later with no one on duty, I am not sure of the approach to getting the info in a quick manner. The room was great beyond this "hiccup" of internet connections before check-in.

The Timberline looks good on the exterior for what I think a motel usually looks like. On the inside, the vibe is definitely manly. No frills and a small bathroom with small sink and shower. There is a fridge, microwave and hot plate which was nice.
Timberline was in the town of Leadville, which is a cute little town. Everything was within walking distance of the motel.
Our only main issue was the keypad entry system. If you don't get it right after 3 attempts, it locks you out. The more you try the longer the wait is, there is no one in the office. You have to call a number for help. We had to leave a message one early morning.
Overall, it is a good stay.
