We were there for our granny's funeral tea, the soup was scrumdiddlyocious. Rab & Rachel were so friendly and let us pull our own pints. BESTEST HOTEL IN SCOTLAND Emily & Eabha, from Ireland.

The Hopetoun is a really good comfortable hotel with a lovely atmosphere. We had a large room with a lovely big bed and very good sized en suite. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We had our evening meal there which was excellent as was the service. Breakfast the next morning was just as good. It was a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely recommend it.

Always good. The new menu is fantastic. Can highly recommend the Parmo menu. The Korean bbq are great as well. The Korean bbq sauce is unbelievably tasty. The deserts are always great too ! Friendly hotel with great hosts. Don’t pass this one by!!

Wow, what a find. I booked in here for a one nights stay and the food is outstanding. I had the Fish & Chips and a Lemon Tart to finish off with. It is worth the drive out and I will definitely be returning when next in the area as the staff were very friendly and the surroundings lovely.

My stay was so good I returned 3 weeks later for another night. Lovely welcome from the owners & staff. Plenty of parking, food really good. The countryside around this hotel is amazing, there are lovely hills behind if you want a great view. If passing close by make a detour to stay here.
