Enjoyable Stay in Leadhills
Great stay at the Hopetoun Arms. Super staff and service throughout our stay, everyone was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and spacious, never been in a room with such a huge bathroom. Meals in the pub were excellent and efficiently served. Overall a very good stay, value for money excellent.

Nice, original hotel
Nice hotel, listed building so original. Our room was spacious, clean and pleasant. The pub meals (part of the hotel), are nicely cooked. We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.

A must
Lovely hotel. Room v clean and warm. Staff took the time to talk to me and make me feel welcome. I was travelling alone. Food v good too.
Only one negative was the mattresses in room one. Definitely need replacing far too soft and bent in in the middle. This is easily rectifiable. Could be my personal taste though. Room was very nice.
Would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant village hotel
Pleasant unpretentious hotel with friendly staff and chatty host. Clean and comfortable double room and large bathroom. Not quite a power shower, but did the job!
Enjoyed evening food served in lounge bar and relaxed after on ample settee before a warming fire. Noisey group in bar next door, but worth a visit to see the display of old photos and materials from days gone by. Good choice for breakfast served in dining room.
