Hotel Oberland is overall highly recommended - extremely good value for money.
Perfectly located in order to race bike in the Alpes - specially the legendary Alpe D'Huez - you can see the Alpe D'Huez from your breakfast table...
Very nice bike storage and private parking behind the Hotel.
Good breakfast - and very polite and observant staff.

Hotel tres tres bien place et a l apparence tres engageante!! Mais ce n est helas qu une apparence!!Les refections recentes tiennent plutot du bricolage.... decoration de tres mauvais gout "cheap" dans les etages, pas ou peu d isolation!!Est ce la raison pour laquelle toutes les chambres par ailleurs au confort minimaliste( pas de seche cheveux pas de telephone, meme pas une bouilloire pour se faire un the!!) sont aussi depourvues de television?ou plutot je suppose par souci d economie...... Salon avec tele mais on vous invite a aller vous coucher tot car la salle est bouclee a cle vers 22H30........car le bar attenant pourrait se faire devaliser par les clients, la confiance regne!!!!.Les touristes viennent surtout pour skier et dormir mais il y a des limites au manque de convivialite!! tres tres decevant!!

Découverte d’un très agréable établissement lors d’un séjour de 3 jours pour ski, Bien placé, parking suffisant, rénové, personnel agréable, restauration de qualité !! Seule l’isolation phonique, toutefois correcte pour l’âge de la bâtisse, est limite… mais un voisin au pas plus léger et respectueux aurait probablement aidé.

À 35 minutes des deux Alpes en voiture (pas 6 comme indiqué) cependant hôtel calme et propre. Pas de télé dans les chambres. Petit dej classique, pour le prix c’est honnête. J’ai enlevé des étoiles pour la localisation (navette présente juste en face mais si vous êtes véhiculé, très peu d’intérêt selon moi) si plus de place en haut, c’est une alternative.

Just back from a long weekend with extended family. The prices in Alpe d'huez put us off so we decided to try Hotel Oberland. Fantastic little hotel. Very clean with comfortable beds and helpful, friendly staff. The breakfast is lovely (I love the option to boil your own egg!) and we had a delicious fondue in the restaurant one night. I mistakenly thought the bus to Allemond ran regularly and was a bit taken aback to discover it only runs every two hours - meaning we had to be out there for 7.50am. Having said that, we were first on the slopes and had very little walking to do in our boots - the bus is very comfortable (not one of those packed, standing up ski buses) and the station is directly opposite the hotel. All in all a great base for a trip to Alpe d'Huez or Les Deux Alpes.

Tres bel hotel Accueil super sympathique et dynamique Chambre spacieuse propretés impeccable emplacement ideal pour aller randonner ou skier dans les environs restaurant tres bon seul petit bemol: pas de tv dans la chambre. nous reviendrons !
