Une belle rencontre ! Tout y est, le lieu magnifique et son hôte si accueillant et attachant ! Un vrai bonheur de séjourner dans ce lieu authentique avec un parc superbement entretenu, une piscine à 28 degrés et Philippe qui se met en quatre pour satisfaire nos envies ou besoin. Partager ses récits de vie fut aussi un plaisir comme de vivre dans l’établissement qui retrace l’Histoire avec un grand H. Philippe a eu un parcours passionnant et poursuit l’aventure dans ce lieu pour nous la faire partager !

This is really the best place I have ever stayed with family, the environment was quiet and serene . It was also a hospitable and friendly place I would definitely love to come back here again. This places was really comfortable at the same time economically.

Het kasteel “mini-Versailles” ziet er prachtig uit, van buiten. Binnen is het een woonhuis van een bijzonder samengesteld gezin en verblijf je als gast in de woonvertrekken van de eigenaar. Niveau Bed&breakfast maar met een Louis XIV -sfeer gecombineerd met attributen uit Thailand, hetgeen een eigenaardig contrast oplevert. Het diner moet besteld worden bij een lokale pizzeria met bedroevende kwaliteit. En de kamer bleek niet schoon, spinrag in badkamer, zeepresten in het bad. Wij sliepen in een imponerend 200jaar oud Chinees hemelbed, dat helaas erg kraakte bij elke beweging. Kortom: unieke ervaring maar niet aan te bevelen, tenzij je valt voor een verblijf in een chateau waar Louis XIV zijn maîtresse bezocht.

Bei Ankunft empfing uns sofort der sehr charmante Eigentümer und erzählte uns die sehr interessante Geschichte des Schlösses. Um das Schloss gibt es eine sehr schöne Parkanlage. In einem eingezäunten Wald gibt es Rotwild was man beobachten kann. Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig mit Wasserflaschen und Wasserkocher. Es war alles Sauber. Das Internet geht gut. Am nächsten morgen haben uns die erwachsenen sehr netten Kinder des Hauses das Frühstück zubereitet.

Château magnifique et jardins très bien entretenus. Les chambres sont très belles. La forêt abrite des biches et des cerfs. Philippe est un hôte merveilleux qui sait s’occuper des clients et se plie en 4 pour les satisfaire. Je reviendrai dans son hôtel qui permet de se dépayser et n’est qu’à seulement 1h de Paris.

This chateau is nothing short of fabulous. The owner, Phillipe, is gracious and generous. The chateau itself is gorgeous and close to the small town of Evreux. I recommend going kayaking on the Eure river. It all makes for a relaxing respite from the bustling, overwhelm of Paris. Only one hour away by train, this place is absolutely a gem. I can't say enough about how great of an experience it was.
