The location of the hotel is very remote. If the hotel has a car and needs to be picked up from the pier, it will cost 1500P one way and the journey takes 45 minutes.
There is no beach in the hotel, only a large stone beach. It is said that you can snorkel, but a large area of coral is covered by seaweed. It is a pity that the sand on the seabed is gray-black. Although there is a beach here, it is not recommended for children. We are a family, and there are several dogs in the B&B. Although they are not aggressive, they are not used to following us all the time, especially when eating.
If you don’t rent a car to go out, you won’t be able to find food within at least 2-3kms! Only in hotels, options are very limited! Juice and coffee are made from powder! Very surprised 🙀

Great place. Well maintained. Clesn and tidy. Spscious rooms. Quiet and pewceful. Away from town centre but not too hard to get to. Really helpful staff. Excellent food (which is not easily the case in PH). Great dive center onsite (Bahuya Divers). Really good reef just off beach of resort for both diving and snorkelling. Ocean is clean, no trash. Had a wonderful time.

We had originally booked for one week at the Lazi Beach Club; however, we decided to extent our stay to 9 nights! Indeed, we were warmly welcomed and had great service throughout our stay. Our meals were fine, and the staff was friendly and caring. Our beachfront room was large, and situated right beside the Bahura Dive Shop. Furthermore, just offshore there’s wonderful coral reef to one side, and a good muck diving location to the other side. There’s a LOT to see and experience on the small island of Siquijor when one is not diving or snorkeling. And, we were always quickly provided us with transportation for our excursions. We’re an older couple in our seventies. Especially after a broken leg two years ago, we did not want to rent a scooter. We carefully crawled through the Cantabon Cave, swam in the Sambulawan underwater river, swam at a picturesque pool below the Cambugahay Falls, climbed to the top of the island at Mt Bandilaan, viewed giant clams while snorkeling at both the Tulapos and Tubod Marine Sanctuaries, and visited historical sites like the St Francis of Assisi Church. On our last night we were taken to the Pitogo Cliffs for an amazing sunset experience. This was a budget accommodation where the staff really cared about us! There's only six separate places to rent, so you'll never be just one of many tourists here! We had such an adventurous time that we did not even use their swimming pool!

The first thing to do is unfortunately to check your bills in this hotel restaurant. I had this problem several times and it was tiring. In the end, as soon as I consumed, I paid by controlling. Another point, the service is not super reliable. Impossible to contact them either by phone or by Messenger. We arrived in the evening, and the next morning we had to change rooms because they made a mistake. There, too, it tired me. Also long waiting times with my children for meals and I assure you that an hour of delays is a long time for my little ogres. The hotel is located quite far from the village, so transport costs must be added if necessary. He provides a van at 500p for 3 hours. It was convenient for us and the driver was very helpful. This adds costs; to take into consideration. The pool is warm, well chlorinated but lacked anti-algae. So, greenish appearance on the walls. A renovation would be welcome. However, it was still nice to use it after the sea with the children. The positive point: opposite, the sea is full of magnificent life. For snorkeling enthusiasts, it’s extraordinary.
