The idea of walking on the sand under the rays of the sun and the sea caressing my feet, I reach an ecstasy when I see that beautiful sunset from my terrace, magnificent attention, from the reception, the culinary art, their mixology with wine lists, left me with the feeling of returning, Thank you Hotel Flamingo!!!!

This was utter family beach perfection. I cannot describe how beautiful the beach is at this property, but that’s Holbox in general. I want to highlight the staff who make this paradise even more of a joy- Ivan at the desk spent 30 minutes talking to me about my travels and sharing his insights, it was such dedication to making sure his guests felt happy and special, I was so touched. Everything was faultless and easy for this lovely team- the food was also wonderful. I’ve actually booked to return next year, as it was truly such a wonderful 3 days. Parabens this was a hotel experience we will never forget

Second time here, quality is improved compared to last time in 2019. Nice and quiet days in July, staff is very friendly and relaxed. Rooms are very big and comfortable.

Loved this hotel except the still water you have to walk through to get to ocean I think that’s why we were eaten alive by no seeums/mosquitos. Great breakfast and a one hour happy hour every day. The adults only pools are cool and very relaxing. Best sunsets ! Easy walk to pier to go on excursions

Room was excellent, daily second fresh towels delivered to your room. Beautiful hotel and awesome shower pressure, lounge chairs and swings. Hotel staff is very helpful and attentive. Enjoyed the more silent vibes. Breakfast included has great options and service is amazing. Town center is too far to walk. You’ll always need a taxi. Many only take cash, just be prepared. The ride is short but comes out to $20. Only true downside is the brackish water to walk through to get to the ocean. It’s slimy and dirty looking. If they could build a bridge that would help. Due to the water standing there and behind the hotel it breeds massive amounts of mosquitos and the hotel doesn’t sell bug spray. Major oversight and they should warn customers. We have too many bites to count!

The worst place to eat Staff from the restaurant offer the WORST EXPERIENCE ON THE ISLAND OF HOLBOX…. The only thing that the server has in mind is getting his tips but for us, tips is something that you have to a work for it. Excellent location in front of the ocean but when the hotel is sold out, they do not accept guests from outside. We arrived and were seated and once seated, the server advise us that because the hotel is sold out, they only accept guests from the hotel. We were told that this instruction was coming from higher management. Was at this restaurant before when it was less busy and food is good but service was below the kind of service expected in Holbox !!! Not worth walking or driving all the way to that place !!! Lots more options that understand what tourism is all about ! And make the tourists WELCOME !!! Avoid this place !!!

“Without a doubt, the best choice on the entire island. The facilities are perfectly designed to connect you with the breathtaking, paradise-like surroundings. The hotel is likely located in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world—absolutely flawless. Every dollar spent here is worth it. The service provided by the staff is exceptional, always warm and attentive. Breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant was a delight. Watching the sunset from the sea was unforgettable, and the views are simply stunning. You can walk for miles along the shore and the crystal-clear water will barely reach your knees. Truly a spectacular experience. I’ve traveled to 27 countries, and I can confidently say this is one of the best beaches and hotels in the world.”
