We had some challenges during our stay. Before arriving, we tried calling the hotel five times but weren’t able to reach anyone, which made navigating the downtown event road closures difficult. I ended up walking on foot to get to the hotel and had to guide my family through the blocked roads over the phone. Once we arrived, our room didn’t have any towels, and when we called the front desk twice, there was no answer. While the location and hotel itself are nice, improved communication and responsiveness would make the guest experience much smoother.

The bathroom shower was full of mold and stains and the glass doors were dirty; 4 out of our 5 towels were brown with stains. I called down for white towels which they brought up fairly quickly. I took photos because it was unbelievable that the housekeepers would hang them up for use and not scrap them! The floors were dirty with debris so it made it hard to relax. The coffee shop in the Lobby is nice; one lady welcomed us but because it was 45 more minutes until closing, a second lady sternly warned us of the time (it doesn’t usually take that long to eat breakfast and the dining area was almost empty. Was not worth the $$.

Booked here based on online reviews and proximity to the Creation Museum. We were also excited about the river view room. Upon check in and arrival to room, we noticed there was no mini fridge or microwave and we packed food and leftovers. There also is no community microwave on the property anywhere. Wish we would have known this when booking, especially with kids. We ordered food at the restaurant and they offered to bring it up to our room. Unfortunately, they didn’t remember our room number and it was shift change for management so no one could verify based on seeing us. I finally called the front desk who transferred me to the restaurant and got our food. It was still warm at least and they did try to find us. The light over the shower flickered constantly when you turned it on and the bathroom door wouldn’t close easily; it had a weird stick that you had to shove closed. The vanity mirror flickered for quite some time after turning it on. Lastly, there were no cookies or continental breakfast! I’ve always had fresh cookies during my stays at DT. Nice location and staff but we won’t stay here again.

It is rare that I am this disappointed and angry with a Hilton. Reserved the hotel for 5 days the end of June 2025. Room was nice but no mini fridge. Contacted front desk was told we had to reserve that ahead of time. (Thought that was standard it’s a Hilton!). On the second day no room service which I can handle I called Front Desk called was told it would be taken care of. Nothing. Day 3 came in after a long day proceeded to the hotel bar for drink. It was crowded but 1 table was available. We sat down and was told we had to check in with hostess. Which we did and was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. There was no one waiting. I asked why as there was no one waiting. He said they didn’t have enough wait staff for the last open table in the bar. Went back to the room. Again, no room service called front desk they were sorry but nothing! had to put garbage out in the hallway. Day 4 arrived after long day. No room service, damp towels on the floor. More trash in room. Called again! told front desk very clearly we need towels. Said she would talk to her manager. Nothing. Day 5 we check out no hopes for any towels. Near the elevator we ran into the service guy towing a mini fridge. I told him we didn’t have one in our room. He said call the front desk and they will send one up???Paid $700. and am so disappointed in Hilton. Poor customer service even after multiple complaints. Don’t waste your money!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very large, beds are comfortable and large showers. Our room was very quiet. The restaurant in the hotel is very good, serving breakfast and dinner at very good prices. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. The area around the Hotel is very nice and everything is walkable. Great town and hotel to visit.

Room smells, river view but it’s more of a muddy view. Only 6 seats at the bar. Only 4 pillows. No glasses in the bathroom. Tile grout is gross and shower doors are cloudy. No frig, digital keys and, no breakfast. Really friendly staff and free parking.

The room is quiet. We had a room by the service elevator and had no issues. Free parking garage across the street with both in and out options. Breakfast for Diamond members was a $15 credit/person to use at their restaurant with about 10 offerings. Our breakfast cost $14.99 before tip and tax... Not a lot of offerings on the menu and the poor wait staff was hustling as it was nonstop busy but the fresh fruit was really well done. The business center is gone and not coming back according to the front desk. The Peloton bike is also not connected and they had no desire to help with that. Disappointed that Hilton is not keeping up with their end of that partnership that they touted so much early on. Nice location on the river and in historic downtown. I spent the day working from the breakfast area and was not bothered at al but there is backgound music if you are trying to do calls

This place is awesome. Right on the river, which our room overlooked. We watched a barges go up and down the Ohio River. The desk clerk was great. We walked in after having to run from another hotel that was horrible. She got us right in. The parking garage across the street was free. The floor and room was extremely quiet! Don’t know how the area will be in the summer though.
