This a drive up to the door motel. No problem. The rooms are fine for anyone's needs. The sink is separate from the bathroom. Theres a fridge and a microwave. The water came out lukewarm when turned to the cold setting which is fine for a shower but not for a cold cup of water. The free breakfast is prepackaged rolls and donut sticks. Check in easy, check out easy.

I have stayed at the Virginia In for years (decades?) and it is always fine- a good budget option for a stay in Lawrence where most motels are over priced. I have written several positive reviews for this motel- and here is another one: It's clean, rooms are nice, colorful, microwave, refrigerator- everything you need. The staff and owners are welcoming. Comfortable. Quiet. My only complaint is when I extended my stay for three more days, the rate jumped up from aprox. $75 to $120 -- a "weekend rate," making it less affordable for me. It was not a special weekend (game, graduation, holiday) and the motel was not busy, so I did not see a compelling reason for the price hike and switched to a less pleasant, cheaper motel for the last week of my stay.

Great Stay!
We always book The Virginia Inn when we visit our son in Lawrence. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always very clean and spacious. I highly recommend The Virginia Inn!

Very nice stay. The room was clean and had everything I needed, and the evening was quiet. Also, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. I'll definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here three different times, and all our stays have been excellent! Friendly desk staff, and large, very clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend this motel...you cannot beat it for the price! We will definitely keep coming back!
