It's no longer in business. Even though we were there a year and a half ago. That's why we wanted to stay there again. Either they sold it or whatever. they are no longer accepting reservations. So we went elsewhere for our vacation stay. So sorry to find this out.

I’d rate the venue “good” instead of average as the Trip Advisor’s Likert Scale rates a 3. The owner is an excellent host and very responsive. The rooms are comfortable and ornate, with lots of pillows, wifi and tv. Definitely a nice place for a romantic getaway. Too far away from downtown to walk, and lighting at night washes out what could be an amazing display of stars if motion activated instead of constant. Overall, a good place to stay with potential for very good or excellent.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and treated us like we were family. Tami made us breakfast every day when we requested it and made sure we had everything we needed

Nice room , great breakfast. We had a nice comfotable stay and the hosts were very nice. We did not stay in the Phantoms lair but want to next time . No one was in it at the time so they showed it to us and it is really cool!!!

I stayed in the princess suite. It was spotless and very nice, but I felt like it was a guest room in a family home. It just felt weird to me. Maybe it was the location of my room. The people were wonderful that owned the place, but the website said they had a natural springs on site. It was VERY disappointing to only have a hot tub. I did go to the public springs, in town before checking in. I also got some dinner, because this place does not have anything but breakfast on site. GPS will get you lost. The signs were a HUGE HELP, so watch for them. The breakfast was excellent!! The thing I did not like was I heard the people above me all night long. I think I slept an hour at the most. I was given a recommendation from a friend of mine and it is a great location. Beautiful property, but I prefer the privacy of a hotel. I did tell a friend about this place and she had already booked for Monday, May 15th. She is staying in a different room. I am hoping she finds her room more private.

Nice and friendly staff. Beautiful location. Don’t trust GPS. Watch signs for lion’s gate manor. Breakfast is highly recommended. Hot tub, but close enough to town for hot springs. Enjoy lava hot springs before checking in and have dinner in town.

The room was well kept, clean was what we expected. Was old fashioned but that is how it is advertised. We were happy with it. Had a modern TV with plenty of channels or so it seemed. did not use them all. Close to downtown, had restaurants within walking distance, could have walked to the hot springs also.

We stayed in the Phantom Lair and loved everything about it. The room was full of details and easter eggs from Phantom of the Opera. The atmosphere was perfect and relaxed to the max. The breakfast is delicious and staff is so very welcoming.

Beautiful.but here are some things to know.if u smoke.and I totally understand the expensive furnishings and what not.as smokers we don't smoke in our own home nor our vehicle.this hotel requires u to smoke inside of your car.no bueno.300 dollar fine for violating that rule.also.the phantom room bath water comes out of the ten foot high ceiling as a stream.its super loud ! And splashes water everywhere.we never used the tub for this reason as to not get a fine for getting the mural wet.breakfast was cold at first they are friendly but become uptight.we went to sit at at the dining table with breakfast .we were told nobody can eat at the table but can in our rooms.which do not have a micro wave nor a mini fridge.for 200 a night we expected more.and to sit on a lowriding love seat with standar height tv tray stands was not comfortable.we r a clean couple and dressed for breakfast not in our robes or flip flops also u sign the rules paper and it states u must wear swim whare in the bath tub. Wow.and do note this is run by strict mormons. We did not appriciate useing our room to eat and not allowed to use the dinning table..will not return.its a 200 dollar look and see but don't use.id just as soon go pay a fee at a genuine museum than stay at this hotel.
