3-Star Hotels in Lausanne

Exactly what we needed. Comfortable room and bedding, very large shower tub. The Breakfast was nice, with attention to avoid disposable material, fresh yoghurts, two coffee machines. The free Lausanne pass allowing free public transportation (and other advantages) was appreciated.

The location is amazing - literally right above the metro station and arrive at the front door in less than 30 seconds. We’ve stayed here for 4 nights and the receptionist we have met are super nice - one of them even guided us to the kitchen to microwave our dinner. Two things we wanted to point out - 1) We had some formal clothes that required ironing, however, the ironing board in room is stored beneath the table and obviously gets super dirty and dusty. At the end we had to iron on the table with a towel on. 2) The housekeeping lady would come knock on our room every morning at 10 to check if we need cleaning or not. One day we told them yes we do need cleaning and would be leaving the room in 30mins. At 3:30pm when we got back to our room, no cleaning was done and yet the cleaning lady came and said either cleaning now or not. We found it quite confusing and disorganised.

The hotel and staff were brilliant. It truly exceeded my expectations. The room was lovely, pillows great ( I asked for synthetic ones) and the bed was comfortable and firm. The bathroom was lovely too. I had a huge panic after dropping my wallet in a taxi. But Sarah, one of the hotel team, was incredible. She was calm and helped me through my panic. She rang around and advised me what to do. I followed her advice and - miraculously - I found the taxi driver and my wallet. It would never have been possible without Sarah's help. Her colleague (Alf?) was also great. He was really friendly - and funny - and helpful. Nothing was a problem. The gym is a wonderful bonus and I had a good workout. I really do recommend this hotel. The location is also only 5-10 mins walk to a metro station. Thank you for my lovely stay!

A perfectly fine hotel with a hotel staff that spoke English well. We had a good stay and for the price it was amazing with the metro really close. The stay even included a public travel pass for going to and from the downtown city. The hotel is a bit special in that it actually is a patient hotel with people staying with newborns and people being in the hospital. So we were s bit in doubt of how that worked and if we even welcome. But we stayed there for 2 nights and had a great time the vibe is just a bit odd and we felt out of place. The breakfast included gluten-free options and was great. The hotel has a fine restaurant that was adequate and at a good price. The restaurant staff didn't speak much English so with a bit of help and Google translate it went fine and with a little knowledge of French it will go fine. Was a bit weird that even when they knew we mostly spoke English and German then those waiters didn't serve us but only the once that knew other languages. We had an amazing stay in Lausanne but felt a bit out of place.

Close to the train station, from the train station gate, first find McDonald's, then go up the McDonald's uphill, and soon there is a winding road on the right to see the hotel LOGO, we just started to go over, dragging the luggage uphill really tired The hotel is on the McDonald's side, up the right hand side up,

Hotel Crystal is Centrally located in Lausanne in Switzerland, very near to the main Railway stations, and very much convenient to walk around. Very nice room with wonderful staff, very much clean, and Amazing Swiss quality service. We highly recommend and suggest this property.

A lovely hotel, situated conveniently just 5 min walk away from the lake and a bus stop into the city center - hotel provides free transportation ticket! Rooms are updated and clean. Staff is super friendly all you need is ask. We asked for extra pillows, boom extra pillows in the room :-) Breakfast is simply, but plentiful. Have stayed before and will stay again.

The location of the hotel is good and it is near to the center and the shopping areas. The atmosphere is very familiar cozy, on the ground floor there are lounge areas and meeting rooms to relax and meet with friends and family but also for business meetings. The room was not very spacious but good enough for a short stay and in general, it is a quiet hotel. The breakfast was good with a decent variety of products and the staff was kind. The only downside of our experience was that the housekeeping did not offer a good service. We stayed 3 nights, after the first night they did the turndown service properly but after the second night they didn't do it anymore. Actually, when we came back to the hotel after spending the whole day out, we found some cleaning products all over the shower and the toilet as you can see in the pictures. I went to the reception and told this to a very young lady but she didn't apologize and took it like it was a normal event. Instead, she just explained that there was an inconvenience with the housekeeping staff that couldn't finish their work but she didn't offer to clean the room. I would come back to the hotel but the housekeeping service should be improved.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. There are many restaurants and bars nearby. The parking lot is right next to the hotel. There are also special discounts for hotel guests. The front desk service was very nice. They gave me a transportation card to facilitate transportation in the city and a welcome drink coupon. The hotel style is very morden, but the room is small, suitable for business travel.

Very good location with metro next door. The room, while quirky, was claustrophobic as you couldn't swing a cat in it. Thankfully, we didn't come to Lausanne to spend our time in a hotel room! Check-in and check-out staff were very friendly as was the chap from Andalusia on the rooftop bar. We didn't bother with the 15 euro per person breakfast and got coffee/pastries from the nearby Migros for a fraction of the price. Appeals much more to a younger crowd (my wife and I are in our 40s but are still young at heart). All told, not bad value for money but I would probably stay in a more traditional establishment next time.
