Hillview House Launceston

The 1840 building was very well preserved. Nice view at night. Breakfast was alright. Very comfortable bed. Toilet door doesn't lock properly though.

Very limited of street parking and difficult to access. Early check in and choice of room was welcomed

The property was well presented and clean. The staff were very efficient and friendly. As it was quite warm having access to a fan or cooling would have been nice

Good location as in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Had to negotiate too many stairs to access room. Steps to bathroom could be hazardous, a ramp would have been a better option. Continental breakfast was ok but cramped breakfast room.

nice and quiet room. bed was comfy. check in was easy. not much parking, only 3 places for 9 or so rooms. one evening out of 2 we had to park on the street. breakfast is pretty simple, so not much of a breakfast. if the hotel reads this, use this list to improve: 1. get a coffee machine with some coffee options (we had one in a Sydney hotel, useful and probably doesn't cost much, under $750 I say). 2. have fresh fruit, the canned peaches are lousy. 3. some boiled eggs for protein 4. oatmeals packets 5 Greek yogurt is nice to have. all that won't cost very much, but will really improve the breakfast experience for the guests. thanks for the nice place

The property was beautiful and well looked after, and there is on site parking. The team was very accomodating when we needed an early check in.
