This was a friendly, cozy hotel with great staff and a congenial atmosphere. The food at breakfast was great, as was the environment. The rooms were entirely adequate, though you won't call them luxurious. Overall, it was a great stay with a uniquely warm vibe.

The Florance is a beautiful character two storey guesthouse set in manicured gardens and close to great restaurants and the ideallic Cataract Gorge. We had an amazing stay in a very spacious well appointed room. The place was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Our host Kate was brilliant - very welcoming and generous with her time to tell of all Launceston’s attractions and hidden gems. The staff were also really lovely. There is also a beautiful conservatory where you can chill out and read a book and relax. Breakfast was first class with freshly squeezed orange juice, granola with yoghurt or milk, tea, coffee and eggs, with toast avocado and tomatoes - a nice healthy start to the day. We loved our stay at The Florance - highly recommended!

This boutique 12 room hotel was very welcoming. Easy self check in, room was comfortable with appropriate amenities. Free onsite parking. Breakfast was included and was more than satisfactory, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, boiled eggs to your liking with sourdough toast (avocado and tomatoes if you want) as well as coffee and tea. Staff were 5+ star. Highly recommended, especially as it is an easy 5 minute walk into town. Many pubs and good restaurants in the area. City Park is across the road and Saturday Harvest Markets are a short walk away.

Quiet & Clean
The room was spacious and well maintained. The area was quiet and made for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was included, basic but enough to get you ready for the day.

Perfect hidden gem
The hotel is located centrally to the cbd. Rooms are comfortable with own ensuite, tea and coffee. There is also a large conservatory / common area where you can relax.
The breakfast provided is next level. The staff (particularly Zoe) were super helpful. If i couldve stayed longer i would.
