Goed verzorgd hotel in het mooie Twentse landschap . Fijn achteraf gelegen . Personeel receptie overdag prima . Daarna stukken minder . Bediening in restaurant zeer matig . We zijn dan ook bijtijds opgestapt en naar Ootmarsum gegaan . Goed gedegen eetcafe .

Mijn vriendin en ik hebben 30 geleden in dit hotel geslapen en gedineerd. Een goede gelegenheid om nu, vanuit een geparkeerde camper op 2.3 km afstand van het hotel, het restaurant wederom te bezoeken. Kort gezegd hebben we meer dan uitstekend gedineerd, mede dankzij het zeer attente en vriendelijke personeel. Natuurlijk hebben we deze dag te veel gedronken (als finishing touch de Chablis), met als resultaat dat we onze camper in de donkere nacht rondom Lattrop niet direct terugvonden. Maar afijn, ook dat is goed gekomen. Weer 30 jaar wachten? Dat ben ik bijna 100 jaar. Mijn vriendin was hierover duidelijk: over 30 jaar zit ik er weer, desnoods met jouw urn naast mij…
