I chose Station Hotel for a weekend getaway because it is off the Strip in Henderson. The website advertises a family friendly environment with Kids Quest, Cyber Quest, bowling, a theater, and shallow pool. DO NOT STAY HERE! It was the worst experience, and they have the absolute worst customer service. We were assaulted in the swimming pool; I was hit in the chest with a football and my 4-year-old was hit in the face with a football while in the pool. This large group of people (approx. 80-100 people) began screaming at us, swearing at us, getting in our faces. They were all drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. I immediately removed myself and my children from the pool and went back to our room. No one did anything to help. The lifeguards in the pool did not come to his aid, there was no security at the pool, this large group of people was also smoking ********* at the pool and no one working for the hotel or at the pool did anything to stop it. We complained to the pool manager Michael, who did nothing. We filled out an incident report with security and spoke to the hotel manager. Although she was friendly, all she did was remove the resort fee from our bill. This group of people who assaulted us in the pool were staying on the same floor as us. We had to move rooms for our safety. The room we were put in had dirty towels in the bathroom and garbage on the floor. All of this was put into our incident report. I contacted the corporate office and spoke to Todd at 702-547-7730 who screamed at me and told me he was going to “put the charges back on our bill” that the hotel manager removed after I complained. My recommendation is that you DO NOT STAY HERE or at any of the Station Hotel properties.
I will start by saying I love GRV and have visited a minimum of 3 times a year for the last 16 years. The Drop bar which was recently remodeled is beautiful but it stops there. There seems to be an identity problem with this bar. During football games they are not allowed to have the sound on even though the bar is surrounded with TV’s. It used to be a lot of fun to hang there to watch the games, play some video poker and be served by the best bartenders. I am not sure who they think their demographic is at 10:00 am on Sunday morning or 5:30 on Monday evening but it’s not the person who wants loud banging music at that hour! While I understand that Friday and Saturday nights warrant more of a nightclub feel the rest of the time it does not and it has become an annoying place to play on weekdays. I seriously hope they reconsider the new rules. As far as the rooms they’re a disaster and are in desperate need of a complete gut which I am sure they know. It is at the point my husband does not want to stay there which is sad for me because it used to be a true luxury off strip resort which is what has kept us coming back. One of our favorite things to do is to get a cabana or hang at the spa pool- the chair covers desperately need to be replaced, they are years beyond being able to be cleaned! Love GVR, love the people there and it’s home to us when we travel to Vegas. I really hope that they bring the property back to the level of luxury it once was.
My husband and I have stayed at this property a number of times. Each time we have found the rooms to be very clean and with all electrical items in good working order. The staff is warm and the extra accomodations like the pool and gym make the stay feel like a great vacation. Love the free coffee in the lobby each morning.

The room is new, and everything is good except for being a little smaller. The bartenders are very enthusiastic ❤️🔥, there is a bar and bread🥯 on the first floor, and the small swimming pool is also considered to be complete with supporting facilities. It is worth staying in. very good!
As a regular Residence Inn patron, I have a pretty good idea of what to expect during my stay. This particular stay offered me only the bare necessities. The room only had 2 hangers, the “fully equipped kitchen” contained just enough cups, plates, bowls & silverware for one person to eat one meal. I stayed 4 nights, but was only offered housekeeping once! It was about 5pm, I had been out all day. I was unpleasantly surprised to return to a room still in need of service! After I ate dinner, I was in the restroom when a housekeeping associate knocked on my door, & let herself in! Upon arrival, I requested a 3 pm late checkout, and was told I would receive it. Ironically, at 12:01 pm, the day of my departure, a housekeeping associate was knocking on my door! She asked if I was checking out that day! I was highly upset! I informed her that I was scheduled for a late checkout. She said ok, & moved on to the next room. When I checked out, I told the associate in the lobby what had just happened, & I asked her if there was a record of my late checkout. She apologized & said she could not find it in the system. She said she would inform the manager of the issue. I have yet to hear anything from the manager & the usual email requesting my thoughts about my stay, as a Marriott Rewards member, never arrived.

The hotel has a very good breakfast and the hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from the airport. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Because I had to catch an early flight, I didn't wait for breakfast, but I could get some fresh fruit and coffee prepared early. This is what the front desk lady is very intimate to tell.
Very satisfied, clean and tidy, close to the airport, especially like, service, breakfast, free breakfast in Las Vegas, quite good, very good! Recommended!
Overall, this is a great place to stay, and I will surely do so again if ever in the area in the future. Really would like to rate this hotel a perfect 5 stars, but I find myself having to give it a 4-star rating. What I found surprising and disappointing was that the courtesy coffee located in dining area was never fresh during the afternoon and evening hours....it was always old and cold. This is something I never experienced at many other Holiday Inn Express over the past 15 years throughout the country.
I’m torn on this place. Choices in Henderson were grim. Every place seems to be poorly maintained, cleaned, or staffed or some combo of these. We ended up here after quickly nixing the Marriott across the lot due to maintenance issues, odor and noise. This one was far cleaner and quieter, although seemed to have the same issues with needing cosmetic help (dirty walls and doors, floor chips in the elevator. Nothing major just indicative of a property in need of refreshing.) The room was pleasantly clean and odor free, except for the carpets that needed shampooing badly. Stay was fairly quiet. Some odd room design in that the bathroom door pushed up against the bed in order to open it. Lamar at the front desk and Daphne and bfst were real standouts. It was clean, quiet and our vehicle was safe in the lot. I’d recommend but hope to see some money invested in the property to bring it up a bit. Bfst was great and well stocked.
