StripViewSuites at Vdara

We were very disappointed in our recent stay at this property. Upon check-in we were notified that the room we had booked was a private property and that we would not be getting daily house keeping done, and anything needed in the room once we were there needed to be requested. Hotel check in time is 3:00pm our room was not ready until 4:30pm. Once we arrived to our room, the kitchen sink was wobbly and did not work properly, the laps in the sitting area only had one that worked, the wall tv was crooked, the safe in the room did not work and the light in the closet did not work either when the door was opened. I have video's of all of this. We were extremely disappointed with the room and couldn't believe this was what was being offered as a place to stay for guests. When asked what could be done they said nothing as it was a privately owed room and not apart of the hotel, which we were not aware of and no where did it say when we were booking that it was a privately owed room and I have booked hotels off of ******* several times and have never run into this issue before. Very unfortunate as we did like the hotel but will not be staying there again.

Rooms not ready for check in time..no housekeeping, no plates dishes cutlery..only upon request...not sure what the point of a kitchen is without any dishes.

If you need a centrally located one bedroom suite with kitchen, dining room, and 180° views, this is the place! We were here for five days both working and playing and it was perfect. Good food in the building but no ******. Which is good. Pool area is very nice and excellent spa and fitness facility. 24 hour convenience store with food selections available and Starbucks in the building.

Great view Hotel was great! Close to everything. Modern and convenient. I wish there were more dining options though. The room was fairly clean but there were hairs left on the tub.

Vdara property Had a comfortable time at the property. Everything was up to par and in working condition.

***** View Suites is owed privately in Vdara My stay with ***** view suites was a mess. Communication was standard but felt automated. I requested place settings and pots and pans and they were not in the room and I never got them. The room was filthy!!!! I thought I walked into Hostle the movie. Dusty, not vacuumed, broken glass from the light fixture in the seats at the table. The fridge did not work and was stained and had hair in it. The dressers were chipped and cracked. The blinds did not work and were broken. The air conditioning vent was hanging off the wall. The only thing clean was the bathroom. The bed was lumpy. And the couch has stains!!! I was advised by the hotel (which I’ve stayed at before Vdara and they are AMAZING!) That these suites are privately owned and responsible for their own upkeep. And they have to pay for maintenance and things like that and that is why it was subpar for Vdaras standards. Vdara sent their own housekeeping up and they were amazing and got room not only amazingly clean but provided me with a new fridge that worked and cleaned top to bottom because I couldn’t change rooms due to the hotel being fully booked. They also sent in maintenance whom was amazing as well to fix the air conditioner and he tried to fix the blinds and he couldn’t. He had to submit for repairs and I had to deal with the sun blazing in my eyes my whole stay. All in all I will never book through ***** View Suites ever again! But I will book through Vdara again per the usual.
