Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village

Back in July, I called this hotel to inquire about room rates but never provided any payment information or confirmed a reservation, as simply asking for prices is a common practice. Despite that, I was later informed that I owed $160 for a room I never booked or stayed in — and that my fully prepaid reservation would not be honored unless I paid this charge. Essentially, I was forced to pay $160 for a non-existent stay in order for the hotel to honor the reservation I had already prepaid. This felt incredibly unfair and left me feeling scammed. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to recognize my Hyatt Explorist status because I had booked through a third-party site where I found a better rate. I received the cancellation notice from the assistant manager, Ms. Day, just as I was landing — leaving me with no time to resolve the issue or make alternate arrangements. This entire experience was handled unprofessionally and with little regard for guest service. It completely disrupted the start of my vacation. I will not be staying at this property again and strongly caution others about how this hotel conducts business.

It’s refreshing to stay off the busy Vegas *****. It’s only a 10-minute drive to the center of the action, and I’m not paying resort or parking fees. I’m also so pleased with the smoke-free environment. Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village is perfect for our family (two adults and one 9-year-old). Check-in and check-out were easy, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. We stayed on the 4th floor. The room was very clean, and everything was working well. I especially appreciate that the carpeting is only around the sofa, as I’m asthmatic. The AC was cool—life-saving in a Vegas summer! No noise issues either. Breakfast was free and had a very decent spread. Everything was tasty! We looked forward to breakfast every morning. They are also a Hyatt “Peloton Benefit” participating location. They have a Peloton bike in the gym, and as a Peloton and Hyatt member, I was able to link my accounts and earn 100 bonus points for each 20-minute (or longer) ride. We had a fantastic stay and will be back for sure! Thank you for taking great care of us, Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village!

This Hyatt place has walk in showers and bathroom. The setup is very up to par with many other locations in the world I ever stayed.

The entire staff at the hotel is UNHELPFUL, they are rude, hang up on you, and downright unprofessional. I have been a globalist for 27 years and have NEVER had to deal with any property like I have here. I had a death in the family that prevented me from staying here, and the entire staff was not accepting enough to cancel the 1 NIGHT stay because I booked a non refundable night, I could see if it was multiple nights but it was for ONE. I have never had to cancel a reservation the day of or day before in 27 years and this hotel was not willing to be supportive, apologetic, or helpful. They need some leadership training and hospitality training. I stay in Vegas for work all the time, and will be avoiding this hotel altogether now and hope you will too!
