This hotel is a little tired: old and dirty carpeting, ancient sheets and bedcovers, 1 elevator for 3 floors. Staff was very nice, and hotel lobby is fine. Breakfast area is clean and immaculate, but the seating needs to be redone as half of the sofa/chairs are way too low for the tables.

We stayed here 2x this month. Both stays excellent, mostly because of the staff. The manager Christine is exceptional! She was welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay great! We were traveling with 2 small dogs she welcomed us all helped us check in quickly. Helping bring our luggage to our room since a luggage cart was not available. The breakfast was nice. Very clean and organized. All staff were helpful and friendly.

This hotel is in need of updating. Hallways and elevator appear dirty and worn. The room was clean, however carpet was dirty, the bathroom door would not close tight, the air conditioner was extremely noisy, the bed was very uncomfortable. A note to those traveling with kids or elderly the water in the shower gets scalding hot. They do allow pets, but the pet area is in their landscaping across the parking lot on a hill. They do have a hot breakfast that is good and the check in and check out personnel were friendly.

Our room was in disrepair - the chair didn't work, the microwave was missing the tray, both curtains were broken (one didn't work at all and the other was disconnected from the raising mechanism), many of the channels didn't work, the internet ran at 0.23 MBPS, there were no hangers in one of the closets (we had a suite). They did replace the chair when asked and were very kind. Not what I expect of HI&Suites.

Good location to hospital. The front traffic circle was jammed up, not a lot of room. The front desk help on the 17th was great. In the morning, the front desk person was not personable. Needs more training in people skills. I'm hard of hearing although young. And she didn't grasp that. Later I called to see if I left something valuable downstairs and she was not understanding the urgency and actually said sheesh. (I was not rude.) It wasn't that she was having an off day either. Let's hope it's just a lack of experience.
