Generally ok and I did extend my trip a couple of days. The food was good and the entertainment team were great. The front desk however are a bit full of themselves. When I arrived at 14h30 they told me the room would be ready by 15h15. When I went back at 15h30 they said 16h30… it was because they were still painting it! When I went in the room I lent against the wall and got covered in paint. I contacted the front desk who seemed very inconvenienced by the issue and said ‘I suppose you will want to change room’. Well yes… did they offer to help me clean off the paint, move my luggage to the new room, bring the new keys to me? No No No - had to do it all myself. So service recovery skills there non existent. They also messed up the new keys when I extended the stay so I had to go back. There is a club area on the beach but it is so badly signposted that people would drift in there and sit down and then get into a fight (literally) with the club guests. The signage needs to be made a lot clearer. I don’t really want to listen to that on my vacation and I expect people who go in there by accident want to be humiliated either. But I did like the hotel and particularly the beach was great for swimming.

This is now my 3rd visit to this Resort V Samana visit June 13th to June 20th – Room 6105 / B721962 V Samana visit November 13th to November 28th – Room 4102 / B753093 V Samana visit October 13th to October 26th – Room 4126 / C56281 This is my 3rd visit to this Resort and will not be my last. Once again, I had a fantastic time. Meet some great people. The Employees are great. These are some of the Employees that stand out. He is the major reason why I will be back. He is truly a great ambassador of this Resort. Rezzak embodies what great Hospitality looks like. He truly is a great asset to the Resort. From 2nd visit: Once again, I had a fantastic time. -------------------------------------- From 1st visit: I selected this Hotel because of Adult Only. My Stay was fantastic. Next time I want to stay in a Bungalow. Gema made my transportation arrangement and both drivers were nice guys eager to tell me about the place they live. The Driver that drove me to the Hotel made a stop at an overlook. From there you could the see the Ocean and Beach below. Making a Reservation directly with the Hotel was easy. I was able to pick 2 Spa treatments and 2 Excursions. Unfortunately, the Ziplining was cancelled and instead I did the Boat Tour. I am glad that it was cancelled. I had so much fun on this Boat. We saw a lot of cool things and learned about the History of the area. I had a great time. The check in process was very straight forward. They explained to me where what is and to use the App to navigate the Resort. I got a nice Welcome drink. Since My room was not ready yet. I walked around to check the place out. The Lobby is a great place to hang out for a while. The App is a very cool thing and very convenient It has all the information you need but rest assured that if need assistance Hamid and Juan can help you or anyone else at the Front Desk. With the App you can make your own Reservations at any of the Restaurants. You can plan activities etc. I had dinner at every Restaurants twice except Fusion. It’s a nice Restaurant but if I can sit outside and enjoy my Meal, I prefer to eat at Mar y Fuego and Mediterrenas. The food is very good at any of the Restaurants. The Buffet Restaurant has a great variety of food. Anything you can imagine they have. Fresh fruit, fresh great tasting pastries, a Salad bar, cold cuts, Pizza, Bread. It’s just a great

Mon séjour à l'hôtel Viva V Samana by Wyndham a été tout simplement parfait ! Grâce à l'aide de mon manager Edwin, tout s'est déroulé parfaitement . La chambre était belle et confortable avec petite piscine , offrant tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. Le bar de la plage était un vrai point fort, avec un service exceptionnel de la part de Sami,Yocairy,Walky qui a su rendre chaque moment encore plus spécial. Les boissons étaient délicieuses et l'ambiance très agréable. La nourriture était également excellente, avec une variété de plats savoureux . Super serveur Carlos , Michael Et que dire de la plage ? Elle était magnifique, idéale pour se détendre au soleil. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour une expérience mémorable !

Vorab: Für einen bestimmten Urlauber-Typus mag dieses Hotel genau das Richtige sein, für uns war es das nicht. Die Bewertung basiert auf ganz persönlichen Erlebnissen unter Berücksichtigung unserer ganz persönlichen Erwartungen an einen Urlaub in diesem hohen Preissegment. Zusammenfassung: Traumstrand gepaart mit schlechtem Hotel (fehlende Sonnenschirme, mittelmäßiges Essen, teilweise unzureichender Service, mangelhafte Hotel-Standards, schlechtes Hotel-Management, schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis). Normalerweise werben Hotels mit ihren Sternen am Eingangsportal usw. (siehe z.B. 5-Sterne-Hotel in La Romana/DomRep), in diesem Hotel sieht man dagegen nirgendwo eine Sterneauszeichnung. Man könnte vermuten, dass die Sterne-Darstellung bewusst vermieden wird, um Auslegungsspielräume zu schaffen, so dass Reiseagenturen weiterhin mit 5-Sterne-Phantasiebewertungen überteuerte Preise rechtfertigen können. Im Einzelnen: Es ist für uns völlig unverständlich, wo die positiven Bewertungen für dieses Hotel herkommen. Filtern Sie nach den schlechten Bewertungen in Tripadvisor und Sie gewinnen einen Eindruck von unserer erlebten Realität. Es handelt sich hier keinesfalls um eine 5-Sterne-Kategorie (Landesbewertung), sondern mit viel Wohlwollen allenfalls um 4 Sterne, tatsächlich eher Mittelklasse im 3-Sterne-Bereich (im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels der Landeskategorie der Dominikanischen Republik). Das Positive: Der Strand ist wirklich einmalig traumhaft! Die Anlage ist gepflegt, unser Zimmer wurde ordentlich gereinigt (wie hier üblich mit Unterstützung von vielen Trinkgeldern). Das Negative: hier könnte man ein Buch schreiben, deshalb stichwortartig zusammengefasst, in der Gesamtheit bekommt man einen guten Eindruck dieser Anlage: Keine Sonnenliegen am Strand! (entgegen der Hotelbeschreibung unserer Buchung bei der größten europäischen Reiseagentur: laut Beschreibung „kostenlose Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand“, die Hotelbeschreibung dort war darüber hinaus in vielen weiteren Details eindeutig falsch (z.B. Transferzeiten über 4 Stunden statt wie angegeben 1,5 Stunden, erforderliche Themenrestaurantreservierung entgegen Reservierungsfreiheit laut Beschreibung usw.), es gab keinerlei Kundenbetreuung vor Ort, nur die App (die anfangs nicht funktionierte) und eine Telefonnummer mit erheblichen Roamingkosten, auf eMails nur Abwiegeln oder keine Reaktion, offenbar kannte das Reiseunternehmen die Hotelanlage nicht - oder schon lange nicht mehr - persönlich). Wir hätten das Hotel ohne Sonnenschirme am Strand z.B. niemals gebucht! Reaktion unseres Reisebüros zur diesbezüglichen Beschwerde per eMail: keine Antwort. Reaktion des Hotels auf Beschwerde vor Ort: „die meisten Menschen möchten keine Sonnenschirme“, „wir brauchen den Platz für mehr Liegen“, „wir werden definitiv keine Sonnenschirme aufstellen“. Unbequeme harte Liegen am Strand, kaum Schatten durch Palmen (keine Sonnenschirme), die meistens Gäste versuchen durch ständiges Verschieben der Liegen verzw

Quiero hacer extensivo mi agradecimiento y felicitaciones a todo el personal de viva resorts, Rep. Dominicana. Desde el personal de recepción (Yara y Leo del club) y atención al huésped (Luis, Gelmi, Melina), tambien del comedor , bares y restaurantes(especialmente Aramis y Roberto), hasta los chicos de animación que me ha recibido con los brazos abiertos, haciéndome sentir como en casa. Roberto, Mar, Connie, Ariel, Shelly, Justine, Federica, Gloria, Uli, son realmente increíbles, contagiando esa energía y alegría durante todo el día, son incansables! Cabe destacar el excelente trabajo de Café, quien lleva un grupo maravilloso y se nota que es el sostén del equipo. Maravillada y agradecida de tan hermosa estadía!

infestation de punaises de lit Je souhaite exprimer mon mécontentement concernant notre séjour dans cet hôtel, particulièrement dans les chambres 4124 et 4104. Nous avons été confrontés à une infestation de punaises de lit, ce qui a rendu notre expérience insupportable. Malgré nos signalements, l’hôtelier n’a pas pris la situation au sérieux et n’a pas fourni d’assistance adéquate. Cela a considérablement affecté notre séjour, et nous sommes très déçus par le manque de réaction face à ce problème sérieux. Je vous prie de bien vouloir prendre en compte cette situation et d’envisager des mesures appropriées pour éviter que d’autres clients ne vivent une expérience similaire.

Nous avons eu un séjour désastreux dans cet hôtel. Les deux chambres où nous avons séjourné étaient infestées de punaises de lit, et le personnel n’a fourni aucune aide. De plus, Air Canada n’a pas été d’un grand soutien. Le voyage a été extrêmement décevant, car trois des quatre membres de notre groupe sont tombés malades. La nourriture était mal conservée, ce qui a contribué à notre mécontentement. Je déconseille vivement cet hôtel.
