This hotel and ****** was really nice. Thank God it's off of the *****. The room that was selected for me was okay. The eyes on the wall was a little creepy, but it was okay. I don't like the fact you couldn't use the refrigerator in the room without being charged. That shouldn't be an issue. So if you get a room at the Palms, bring a cooler, because the refrigerator is off limits unless you want to pay for it.

Service: I called the front desk several times from the room to report the lack of shower gel in the bathroom, but no one answered. I had to go to the front desk in person to report it before someone would handle it.

It is a pure hotel building, there is no ***, so it is very quiet.
The farthest south hall from the convention center is only a 10-minute walk.
It's a 10-minute taxi ride and a 20-minute walk from the ***** center.
15 minutes drive from the airport.
Breakfast has fixed varieties every day. Scrambled eggs sausage bread milk cereal fruit.
It is a very suitable hotel for business travel, but the only terrible thing is that it can't even connect to the wifiš , and the hotel staff can't connect to various operations...
a fly in the ointment!

Decent hotel for the price. For strip view rooms avoid the the 7 th floor as they have the windows barred. The receptionist said it was a value upgrade for $40 but definitely not worth the barred windows. The food options within the hotel are nice. Good bathroom and comfortable beds . The location is on the quiter end of the strip

The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is to me the best hotel in Las Vegas and one of the finer hotels in the country. We choose it partly because it is dedicated to a luxury stay without all the commotion of the casinos. The staff is great and attentive from the moment you arrive. Even before you arrive thereās a welcome message from the staff to assist you with your arrival. The rooms are beautiful and along with the upgrades for Hilton Diamond members, every amenity is well appointed. The food is great, and the pool and spa are perfect without all of the crowds that you see at other hotels on the strip. This is truly a gem and oasis in the heart of Las Vegas and always our go to when in town.

It was good stay. On arrival, although there were so many people, Jaye in the front desk was very kind and good with warm welcome, and the room and facilities was comfortable. Many shops and restaurants were in or near the building, it was also convenient. Thank you.

Good location and convenient to other MGM hotels. The swimming pool is small but had three of them. Good to chill out for a while. Need to prepare toothbrush and slipper.

Super friendly check in staff (Chris), clean and modern room recently finished in Spa Tower. Great location with easy access to public transportation. The only complaint I have is about the concierge text message system. Left something to be desired. And hotel front desk does not accept take away order on guests' behalf.

GGuest UserStayed here for new years for 5 days. Room itself was fine. View and location is top notch. Right infront of monorail so commute to strip is very good. View was breathtaking aswell especially at new years. Amenities were non existent. No microwave, no COFFEE MAKER, no nothing. Was the room clean. YES. Was the bathroom clean Kinda but was missing drawer handles with the shower head just poking out of the ceiling. Lobby is great and Casino aswell as Sportsbook is top notch. Overall it was alright. Just a little neglected and run down. But still worth the stay for the view and comfy beds.

AAmerican solo travelerThe good: fresh crisp bright white linens, the buffet, the customer service, pool, parking facility with active security presence
The bad: bathroom cleanliness upon arrival (better after first day room freshen up, though), the elevators (stayed in Purple Elevator sectionā¦ 2 didnāt work, the two that did were shaky and took forever), no in room refrigerator, phone didnāt work,
Overall good stay. Would return

GGuest UserEnjoyed staying at Excalibur. Location was great. Canyon Tours departed from the hotel.
Only downside for me was the cigarette smell all through the casino made it hard to stay downstairs and gamble. But otherwise everything else was great.

BBE ABROADABLE - Nat the ExpatSuper clean and beautiful! We had an awesome time at MGM. Their fees were very straightforward and we werenāt hit with any nasty surprises. The rooms were clean and soundproofing was great. Bathroom was lovely and the bed was cozy!
Casino on the first floor, and target just a 5 minute walk away for grocery needs (we saved a lot of money getting groceries as opposed to always needing to eat out).
Weād definitely stay again!

Jjackie chambers dahlingI would like to state that the renovation Rio has done is amazing. I can't tell you how excited excited.I am about the hotel rooms here. I've been to the rio on several occasions in the past. And when I say it is upgraded, the rooms are not outdated or tacky. The rooms are now modern and have great furniture and which match the decor. No more weird windows looking into the bathroom. No more ugly curtains or couches.Or furniture. It is now chic.
The one thing I do want to mention is El Burro Borracho, in the Rio. The Chios and salsa were fantastic. The chips were lite and tasty. We had the fajitas. I've had better fajitas elsewhere. The service there was slow. The server hardly came to the table when needed, too. I'm not sure if they were short staff, but, yeah. I do feel the food and drinks were overly priced. I understand it is a celebrity restaurant, but I don't think the price was worth it.
EEarthtraveler86The Orleans Hotel and Casino exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the casino was a lot of fun.
I loved the Mardi Gras theme and the live music in the casino. The hotel's location was also perfect for exploring the Strip and other attractions.
I would definitely stay at The Orleans again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great value in Las Vegas.
JJoe SnuffyVery good location, away from the strip and closer to Fremont areas and local eatery, not too far from Chinatown. Better price, however parking is much to be desired. Good discount for Tower access admission, Strat Cafe open almost 24 hours for all meals. Very affordable price.

GGuest UserHit up this hotel in Vegas thatās pretty easy on the wallet and in a solid spot, just a 10-minute stroll from all the big shows at MGM Grand. Felt totally safe around there, even when stepping out at 5 AM for day trips, way before sunrise.
But, just a heads-up, during my weekās stay, housekeeping only swung by once, and they were kinda skimpy on the water, only two small bottles provided. Ended up feeling under the weather one day, stuck in my room feeling rough. Had to ask the staff for more water the next day, and they were super cool about it, hooking me up with five bottles right away.
