We were there for my son’s wedding. It was perfect from start to finish. Room was lovely and clean and fresh. Food was lovely. Staff were so helpful. Couldn’t fault it

A great location, great rooms and friendly staff, but a couple of minor gripes let them down. Our used water glasses were not changed daily and the same applied to used tea cups. A used wine glass remained in our room for 2 days and was still there when we left. Also, we twice tried to get a decent coffee, only to be told that the machine was switched off. One of our party was told at breakfast that they would have to pay extra for a latte! The cooked breakfast was excellent, but the cold buffet selection was limited. Finally, we got back from our dinner on Saturday night to be told that the bar was shut! What hotel shuts it's bar for residents before 10.20 pm on a Saturday night?

Another wonderful stay at the. Brisbane House Hotel. Stayed 3 days during the really sunny weather, having front facing rooms is great, the view is amazing, but means they can get quite hot. Staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make my stay with a friend as problem free as possible. Special mention to Julie and Marianne for being so understanding. Hope to be back very soon

Beautifully located, stunning interior with incredibly friendly staff who go over and above to accommodate. Very clean rooms spacious only downfall is no air con however that didn't ruin our experience. Breakfast was very fresh and lots of choice. Can't wait to return

This is a really clean and friendly hotel BUT it does not have a proper restaurant. Breakfast is not great although the cooked offering is really good. We missed out on the fresh fruit (three mornings) because we weren't the first to breakfast. Note to management......if your breakfast finishes at say 9am then at 8 55 you need to offer guests the same options as guests who ate at say 8am. Also, switch up the quality of your tea. It is dreadful.

Good location
Recently refurbished very pleasant hotel , though my room was rather small . A ‘big bear ‘ of mine us these absurdly small washbasins that hotels seem to b fitting . The plugs never work & the basin is too shallow so it’s impossible to wash one’s face without standing sideways on to the basin else you vang your head on the single tap .
Shower screen too small so water splashes out into the floor saturating the bath mat , which in turn will very soon ruin the lovely flooring . Designers don’t seem to think if the actual practicalities .
That said , it was a comfortable stay .

My daughter was married in the hitel and many guests stayed overnight. The wedding was beautifully planned and executed. The staff were really helpful and kept things moving smoothly. They could not have done more for us.
The preperation room for the bridecand her party was perfect
