Hotel was great. You can snorkel in the sea at the beachfront of the hotel and see nice fishes without going too deep. But the life jackets provided are quite old. Security is tight so you feel safe. This hotel is near a good massage place and we went every day.
If u book the day trip to moalboal u need to depart at around 4.30 am as it is very far away. Hotel is very kind to provide us with a breakfast pack to go for our day trip.
In general this hotel exceeded our expectations.

I had a lot of concerns about where to stay while visiting Cebu, but I made a reservation at The Reef Island Mactan, which caught my eye :) When I arrived at the hotel after an early morning flight and an Oslob canyoning tour, the bellman took care of our luggage, kindly checked us in, and showed us to our rooms. From the very beginning of my stay at the hotel, I felt great - the room was spacious and clean, and even the view outside the window was perfect👍 The breakfast was also delicious, and the hopping tour was canceled the next day, so I used the hotel pool for one day. It was so good that I wanted to stay a few more days and go! Next time I come, I will definitely make a reservation at The Reef. I haven't been to the private beach ㅠㅠ I checked out after just looking around, but I regret it so much that I will definitely come back! The Reef is the best. The staff and service are the best. Everything was great. I will come to Cebu again~~~🖤

We stayed at The Reef to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The view was breathtaking, and our room was clear, spacious, and comfortable. The gym was well-equipped, and the pool was clean. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the fresh and delicious bakery items.
However, the restaurant’s other meals were disappointing, lacking in flavor. Additionally, they ran out of candles for the birthday cake, which was an odd and unfortunate oversight.
Overall, The Reef offers beautiful views, great amenities, and a lovely breakfast, but improving the dining experience and attention to small details would make it even better
