Where to begin. The building is not secure…anyone can walk in any of the doors including the back ones. When you enter you are hit with a heavy smoke and air freshener smell with some musky basement smells mixed in. Many of the clientele done seem like guests but they they live here and maybe cook meth and/or deal out their rooms. One of the rooms by us had their door always cracked open which was odd and a bit unnerving. I didn’t want to touch any of the surfaces in the room. The only plus was the bed and pillows were comfortable. We tried to get two towels replaced but the maid only had one. There aren’t many options in Laporte, but I would only do this one as a last resort.

Room was clean. Furniture was well worn. Breakfast was sparse. Front desk clerk was hard to understand. This motel seriously needs updating and remodeling. We only needed a one night stay, so we survived. I doubt that we would stay there again.

This place is trash. The rooms are run-down and there's no safe, nor do the doors to the outside lock. The rooms are in serious need of a renovation, and there were no toiletries in the bathroom, as advertised. The sound is awful and you won't be able to sleep at night without the fan running, which only runs constantly if you set if for no heat/air, so you can either have a silent night without temperature control, or a noisy night with temperature control. We didn't even bother checking out breakfast but the set-up alone shows that it would have been sub-standard. We stayed because it was immediately next door to the venue we were visting; never making this mistake again.

At first glance I thought the room was fine enough, but discovered what looked like dried blood on the bedspread. Carpet should be replaced and the bathroom floor felt sticky. There were just 2 bath towels & 1 washcloth. But, Front desk staff were friendly enough and the continental breakfast was fine.

Dark dank basement rooms dirty carpeting throughout hard on busy road no landscaping Overwhelming cleaning smell seeming to mask smoke and other bad smells. Clerk was helpful finding dog friendly cafe

There was no grass, nothing but a small parking lot on a busy road. The rooms were small and too cramped for pets or people to move around and the rooms were filthy. Strongly suggest people don't stay here!

Room looked nothing like the pics. The place seemed outdated and had a basement like smell. A few local meth heads loitered outside. Left Bluetooth speaker and phone charger in the room. Called back a few hours later to retrieve and was immediately told (without checking) that it was not there. I won’t even begin to speak about breakfast. Let’s just say the county jail is fine cuisine in comparison. Stay elsewhere.
