The hotel is actually about a 12 minute drive from Lanzhou West station. It is set back from the street so is quiet. My room was dark but big and comfortable. There are many small shops nearby.

The room was fairly basic, but the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel is located very close to a lot of restaurants and is not too far from Lanzhou West train station. The room was surprisingly quiet, considering the hustle and bustle in the street outside. A good choice for the frugal traveller.
