I like the environment here. I do know there’s a good college around here.

Experience was terrible because of bed bugs. I have several bites. I left in the middle of the night after finding the bug/ showing the desk clerk the picture and where I had smashed it. I saw a second bug one and told the clerk about it as well. I was provided an email but was told they would have to do an investigation before determining a resolution despite me providing a photo and the dead bug.

My 11-year old nephew had been vomiting all morning. When I walked into his room to check on him, the distinct smell of raw sewage hit me. The air vents had been pumping in the fowl stench. This was alarming but not surprising. We had prepaid for three rooms to celebrate my parents 55Th wedding anniversary. When my sister arrived, they were not able to find the reservation. In frustration as her two kids waited to go to bed, she decided to pay again for another room. When my 23 year old nephew arrived, they also could not find his prepaid reservation. In frustration, he left to find other housing. The head manager would later charge him as a no-show and created an additional fictitious reservation claiming he spent the night there. When I arrived with my family, kids 11 & 8 years old, they eventually found our reservation. The “suite” had one good bed and a broken pullout for the kids. The picture attached shows the torn mattress and exposed springs. It took two attempts and picture evidence, but they agreed to change our room. The pool ladder had only one top step and was not secured. The shelves for the pool towel were empty. This was a mute point because the pool water was cloudy with particles floating in the water. The common area did not feel safe. Several homeless people wandered the halls. The breakfast area was nice and well kept, but breakfast was interrupted by homeless people soliciting help. The management that was there only added to the abrasive environment. These issues were communicated to the head manager. His response was flustered, illogical, contradicting, and overall mean spirited. It was like debating with a two year old having a tantrum. In the end, we were overcharged, my sister double paid, we did get out safe, but my nephew has been vomiting for two days now. I have traveled extensively around the world enjoying numerous cultural experiences. The lodging has been from youth hostiles to 5-star resorts and everything in between. I have never experienced anything as nonsensical, unsafe, unsanitary, and infuriating as this was.

Don't go! Breakfast was cold... I stayed across from indoor pool so it was quite noisy. Bathroom light fixture was rusty and the bathroom was tiny. The WIFI was spotty and the TV service went out both times I tried to watch TV. If you have another option... stay somewhere else.

Staff was great, rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great! Trash was always in the parking lot and no cigarette butt ash trays, stop smoking in front of building, looks bad. But pool was great, it was quite and bed was comfy and tv had lots of channels. 4 and half stars and enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
