Experience was terrible because of bed bugs. I have several bites. I left in the middle of the night after finding the bug/ showing the desk clerk the picture and where I had smashed it. I saw a second bug one and told the clerk about it as well. I was provided an email but was told they would have to do an investigation before determining a resolution despite me providing a photo and the dead bug.

The hotel has an event center on the first floor. The center is not sound proof and so the sound/noise from the event centre is a nuisance to guest. I experienced that nuisance twice, even up until 2300 hours in the night.

The staff was helpful thru out my stay. I had a 2nd floor room off the pool and I had no trouble watching TV or sleeping, even with family's enjoying the pool. I'll pick this hotel again for sure. 👍👍

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The rooms are so old and dated. The door handle in the bathroom of my room did not work. I discovered the after the door was closed. It took me 10 minutes of jigging it door and handle to force it back open. PLEASE choose anywhere else but this place.

I wish I would have read these reviews first and not banked on the ******* reviews. As I’m reading others say now it’s absolutely terrible. The hallways are dark and dank and filthy. My first room was in the very back hallway, no light, no exterior windows and felt completely unsafe. I requested a room change and they moved me to the 2nd floor facing the pool - BIG mistake. I got back to my room around 8 and there were numerous kids at the pool, ok at first but considering they were at the pool until after 10 pm yelling and screaming and the proceeded to RUN the halls screaming playing hide and seek until well after 11pm, apparently unsupervised! Saturday morning starting about 9 am, the same, I’m going to say at least 10 kids at the pool yelling and screaming all day, it now 3:10 and it has not stopped. My question is, are they locals being left here or actually guests. The room door apparently was kicked in at one point and does not latch well, I actually put a chair under the door handle so I would feel safer. The beds are, well, very worn so that added with the noise I didn’t get much sleep during my stay. I cannot speak to housekeeping as I had “do not disturb” displayed so nobody would come in my room. Please understand this hotel is built around the indoor pool with superb acoustics that rebound off the ceilings and walls to all the rooms, I particular the 2nd floor. They put a hold of $250 on my card for incidentals and in case there was smoking (I don’t smoke), so I made sure to inform them that my room already not only smelled like smoke and **** but that at least one of the comforters had several burn hole marks. There is flaking paint and damaged walls and furniture. I have to be fair so: PRO - Hot water and decent water pressure for shower. It was close to my daughter.

Booked a 5 night stay at the hotel via ******* in August 2023 and arrived at 1:30 a.m. after a long drive from Chicago but only spent one night and checked-out the next morning. The hotel was filthy, dark and dirty hallways with almost no lighting, the room was dirty with dust and dried paint flakes everywhere and smelled of wet paint and/or melted plastic or some kind of solvent. The bathroom was even worst, dirty with hairs all over the towels and in the bathtub. Went to see the night manager but he said he does not see any issues and would have "no problems sleeping well at the hotel". Went back to the room to try to sleep and in the middle of the night smelled something burning but could not find the cause so did not sleep as was afraid of a fire. In the morning found that one of the lamp had shorted as the lamp no longer worked. On check-out the hotel charged us USD$90 penalty for early check-out, that we gladly paid! Went to stay at a Marriott instead, lesson learned and should have trusted the bad comments already on ******* from other guests but had thought could not be that bad and the location was ideal for us, we were wrong! Should have stayed with a major hotel chains that we always use. We have stayed at a few hotels in 3rd world countries that were better than this! ******* should pull this listing on their website as it is not fit to be listed for their customers to stay at, or at least have it checked to verify comments/ratings from their customers.
