Hotel very near to Indian restaurant with good food

Since the hotel is relatively new it’s very clean and undamaged. Its location is VERY convenient: right across the street from shopping, many restaurants of varying prices and a movie theater. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. I spent 3 nights, and was very comfortable for the price. On the downside, housekeeping only comes every 3 days. Trash doesn’t get emptied, coffee packets don’t get restocked, etc. if you need additional supplies you have to get them from the front desk. The free breakfast buffet is about what you’d expect, but not great. Staff is sparse here and throughout the hotel. If I had small children and was on a budget I’d definitely stay here. The pool area looked very nice. Traveling solo, it won’t be my first choice in the future. Too much do-it-yourself to make the stay entirely comfortable.

Absolutely perfect stay. We had a long day of riding in the chilly Michigan cloudy weather and Mr. Willis at check-in was so wonderfully sweet!! The hotel is spotless, the room was clean, the shower was hot and the bed was comfy. That's all we could ask for. The breakfast was typical but the morning staff was just super pleasant!!

WOW, has this gone down hill. I am so embarrassed that I recommend this hotel to 4 other businesses that all came in for the show we were doing this weekend. I have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years. I was SHOCKED at the treatment from check in to check out. Mr. Willis was the ONLY person at this hotel that was kind and welcomed you. It started at check in, the lady with colored dreadlocks told me I had to pay for my 3 night stay. I said no, I had already prepaid over a month ago. I proceeded to find my receipt and she said "well nobody pulled the money from the third party so you will have to pay". Nope, I will not pay. I do not know what your procedures are but I am not paying twice. To which she replied with slamming down my key card as hard as she could and said have a nice day. I said I needed 2 cards, there were 2 of us staying in the room. This really sent her into a tail spin. She refused to give me her name. Never told me anything, no breakfast times, no housekeeping policy, nothing. The next 3 mornings we down about 30 minutes after it started. They RAN OUT OF FOOD all 3 days. If you came down 40 minutes after, they were told there was only oatmeal. The tables were filthy. And this morning the lady who worked the breakfast came out and told many of us the new manager cut back and only orders enough food for about 10 people even though hundreds were staying and he would not order any more food until Wednesday when he finally returned. All of my friends in the other rooms did not get any breakfast. Housekeep is not every other day until you have stayed there 3 days. Of course we ran out of toilet paper, wash clothes, and clean towels. This would have been great to know up front so we would have known. I would have never booked this hotel knowing that. And the amount of strangers coming in off the street not staying there but just hanging out, was alarming. I will NEVER stay here again. I was told they let go of all the full time staff and hired in part timers so they did not have to pay benefits which is why the staff is so angry and taking it out on the customers. Rather this is true or not, it was so very obvious they have personnel issues and it is now become the customers problem as well. The 4 rooms we all booked will now be booked at a place that treats customers as if they value them.

Quick over night on the way to orientation at Miami. Tisha made our stay! She was a 5 star hostess during check in: proficient, informational, friendly & conversational. The hotel is perfect location, clean and updated, but staff was above average.

The experience I've gotten today from the front desk staff was above and beyond, Willis specifically, he is the person you wish would greet you when checking in, he was polite, courteous, kind, and made this experience one to never forget, his demeanor and personality turned our sour start to a trip into a sweet surprise

Hotel is new and nice. Location is awful, it's right up on the highway. I saw this in other reviews so I called in advance to request a room facing away from the highway. I was assured such a room was available and reserved for us. Upon arrival, I was told they are fully booked and we had been put in a room facing the highway. The desk clerk specifically brought this up upon check in so our request was clearly known, it was simply ignored. The highway facing room was awful with traffic noise that made restful sleep impossible. Pool was also comically small and cloudy. As a reasonably quiet room cannot be guaranteed (even when they tell you it will be), we will not stay here again.

This was my first time visiting this hotel, recommended because of the yummy hot breakfast. I was moving out my apartment and booked the hotel through Priceline at the last minute. Due to me rushing and etc. I arrived at the wrong hotel location not knowing there were two locations. I was politely greeted by Willis (loved his outfit 😊) at the front desk who was AMAZING the entire time! He assisted me in my cancelations and reservations plus accommodating me the best way he could! I would definitely come back!! Clean hotel rooms, comfy beds, no noise issues and great and helpful staff!

Front desk staff was outstanding. Very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were good size, nice and clean. Food was good for a hotel. Located near really good restaurants, stores and gas stations. Plenty of lighted parking close to entrance.
