Very good buffet breakfast: fresh!!! fruit, cooked ham, cheese, muesli with nuts, croissants better than the ones from the bakery in Calais. Room with real wool carpet. Art lithographs Arts and Craft. Exclusive high-quality bathroom products ( Bramley)..nice Yes, as you would expect in an Inn from the early Middle Ages, the room and bathroom are very small, but tastefully furnished Very helpful owner, who even sent us the travel guide he had left behind. Inviting garden

We are walking The Saints Way and staying at The Crown en route. What a fantastic place. Really welcoming, great food, great beers and a super room. I would say a proper pub, but also with nice touches like getting fresh milk at your room door each morning for tea and preparing a lovely packed lunch with local produce for us at late notice. If I could give 6 stars I would !!. I hope The Crown as a local village Inn is with us for a long time.

This is the very best place to stay! Historic pub, sumptuous comfortable and brilliantly presented rooms, attentive staff, along with a wide variety of well maintained beers! We slept really well, having had a little glass of sherry in cut glass glasses before bed, used the chalk message slate outside to request milk delivery in the morning for our first cup of tea, and then enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast, along with a cooked breakfast! Honestly can’t fault anything here..just looking forward to our return! A big thank you to Tim for being such a great host ! Rupert and Anna

If you want a REAL country pub, this for me has to be one of the best if not the best pub I've every been to in that regard. For me a pub is about hospitality, it being the centre of the community and how welcome you feel. Tim, the landlord will make you feel like your part of the family! Nothing is too much and for my wife and I we felt as though we were sat in a warm cosy living room with a roaring fire. Our room was very comfortable, quiet and had a lovely country feel. The locals were the salt of the earth and made us feel welcome to join in conversation and laughter! The beer and food was great with an exceptional breakfast! All produce sourced locally. Would highly recommend!

Este maravilloso hotel no pue ser más bonito. Todo cuidado al detalle. Las habitaciones son preciosas, el entorno es una maravilla, el servicio es magnífico. La amabilidad de sus dueños lo hace más especial si cabe. Se come fenomenal. No tiene ni una pega.

We only stopped for lunch this time. Which we enjoyed very much. Lovely staff. Pub has character and is in a Hamlet Very reasonable rates for meal and drinks. Beautiful country side. We recommend the Crown Inn. Well worth a visit. Just to add we also enjoy our stay in 2022.

Booked The Crown Inn for a family stay. The place itself is unspoiled and is well looked after by the owners and staff. The rooms are both within the inn or within the grounds. Outer buildings have been refitted and used as guest rooms. The whole place is in keeping with what you would expect for an old English inn in Cornwall. The rooms are well equipped, very clean and tastefully decorated, again with what you would want to see in the Cornwall countryside. The hosts Tim and Jos are welcoming and approachable. The crown is evidently well liked by locals as this was reflected in how busy it was. That said, the place is quiet and is a place to relax. The food was more than acceptable and both my family and I cannot think of a reasonable criticism. I would definitely stay again and have no reservations about recommending this place.
