Gili Lankanfushi Maldives

We really enjoyed the butler service that Gili provided. They call butler “Mr. Friday”. Our Mr. Friday, Mr. Mifi, is amazing. He took care of all our issues, from booking dinners to booking spa and tennis class.

This was our 3rd visit to Gili and we have met many families and couples that have also repeated several times. My husband and I have been talking about what makes Gili so special. I think that the magic of the hotel (besides the beautiful location, landscape and architecture) is the hotel Staff. All the people that assist you during the whole experience are extremely professional and kind. On behalf of our family, we wat to give a special thank you to Zubba, our host on the island. He really made sure that our stay at the hotel was a special experience. He is a very professional person, super kind and thoughtful with our kids Another key aspect that made our stay unique is the F&B team. Their level of kindness and attention to detail is remarkable. A special mention to Ria, Babe, Reef, Santos and Monica. You certainly made our stay special with the way you treated us and our 3 kids. Our sincere congratulations to the management team. We are sure that part of the Hotel success is been able to have a Staff that is so well prepared, trained and thoughtful. Thanks Gili team for making our time there a dream holiday.

Many thanks: -Shawa -food and beverage manager for his support during our repeat stay in this year. Hope in future to see him as Resort manager or higher .He do everything including reconstraction our villa according our request. -Chef Hari and his team for fine cuisine and large selection of products. -Housekeeping for cleaning villa. But at the same time we have not so good impression concering about air condition work. A/C functioned very bad. 5 times was noisy, after repeated claim from our side, it was changed, but representive of the hotel set it stop during night 2 time (at 02:00 and 04:00 AM) !!! To my deeply regret no apologies from resort manager (RM). RM is different story. During our more than 65 days stays in this year we see him only 2 times (each not more than two minute) it`s unpleasure. But another service is very high level

Overall, everything was excellent. There are many unforgettable memories for both of us: the general manager, Ms. Friday, and the Maine and Bar Restaurant staff. Also, the views are magnificent! It was our first visit to Gili Lankanfushi, and we had a beautiful experience with everyone.

My wife and I stayed at Gili as the conclusion of a two week birthday anniversary trip. We stayed in one of the Cruseo residences and were here for 5 nights. Our Ms Friday Shanny went us upon our arrival and had our entire stay planned for us when we arrived. While it was planned we were free to make any alterations we desired. The staff accommodated all of our requests. We changed massage types - dinner nights and activities based on wind or our desire to just relax some days. The food team - Alicia - Monica - wob bit - se Ann- were always happy to see us and very welcoming. The team was not intrusive but anticipated our needs. They very quickly knew our names and became aware of our preferences. We decided to do the battle of the bartenders activity and Bryan and Stanley made the night. They were funny competitive and creative with their cocktails. The meals seemed to get better with each meal. My wife and I tried to find something we didn’t like but were unsuccessful. The homemade ice cream became a daily ritual at 3-4pm that I will miss. One of the things that I was most impressed with is the moral of the staff. We were fortunate to be invited to the final host football match and to see the host village. I was very pleased to see how well Gili treats the team and how vast the village was. It is a testimony to the resort to understand that by keeping the team happy it is apparent to the guests. We will definitely be back - if it was closer as we are from the US we would come every year, but at a minimum we will return every 5 years on our Anniversary. If you were like us and trying to pick a resort in the Maldives this one is the one to pick. Period Stop!!!!!!!!

What an unforgettable experience and trip of a lifetime! My husband and I traveled here on our honeymoon from Boston, MA and it was well worth the trip. Our Mrs. Friday, Shaany was incredible and made everything so seamless and enjoyable! Her and the team helped us create memories that we will cherish forever. We loved our entire time with her and at Gili. Everyone we met working there goes out of their way to get to know you and what you like to make the experience even more enjoyable!
