We have been using this modern Ibis Budget quite often since it opened a few years ago... it is about halfway on our way to Roses/Spain by car. - The service here is very good and attentive, the rooms are small, clean and completely fine, the breakfast is quite plentiful (...and there was/is even sausage and cooked ham here), the parking situation on site is excellent... and the location to the historic old town - the really wonderful Langres - is even excellent. --- BUT: ...the "annoying" prices in this (...and in other...) Accor-Ibis budgets have shot up to an unusually high level in recent years: we now pay more than 110 euros/night in the low season for a standard room with a double bed + 2x breakfast (+ small dog) ... and the former "budget idea" of past years (of the Accor chain) must therefore clearly and actually be abandoned (...just a few years ago even Accor-Ibis "red" hotels cost significantly less). - In Langres, however, there is still relatively no alternative to this hotel - officially advertised as "inexpensive". --- (Ps. : ...on the Accor website, this Ibis Budget Langres is listed with 2** stars; on other sites with 3*** stars... apparently nobody knows for sure; in Spain, by the way, some really great (!) Paradores have 3*** stars... and you live there like "God in Spain" for the same money.). --- "Vamos a ver"... where the "adventurous" Accor price spiral will lead here... but then definitely without us.)
