Hotels in Kuah Town, Langkawi

Second time here, and it’s a reliable, clean and basic  accommodation with unexpected perks I would vouch for! Rm35/24h scooter rental (well used bikes), free drinks in the lobby and a nice view of the river/boats, islands, Maha tower and sea (for sea view; not city). Would love day curtains for more privacy. This time, the lobby aircon broke down and the fan circulates a slight sweaty smell. But staff are friendly and polite!

The location of We Hotel Langkawi is excellent. It is near many good dining spots, duty free shops and just in front of Maha Tower with a good sea view nearby. Purely from my recent personal experience, the service quality is acceptable if you are not too fussy. It is decent enough for a budget stay in Kuah Town without burning your pockets. However, bear in mind that you have to bring along your own tooth paste, shampoo, tooth brush and/or hair dryer as the hotel does not provide such toiletries for you. Occasionally, if you are ”lucky” enough, you may also spot some baby cockroaches in the bathroom or near your bed. Hotel has to carry out pest control measures to eliminate this problem so as to improve the level of hygiene and cleanliness.

Good value for money. Our room had a view of the bay. The staff are amazing, breakfast was also OK for the price. This hotel is a little dated, , you can see that rooms are somewhat tired. I didn't like the blue towels in the bathroom, they had a funky smell. Otherwise, it's truly worth the money.

The hotel was very clean and beautifully maintained. The bathtub was spacious, and the location was great for accessing the city. However, if you want to visit the main beach, you will need a car.

Pros : The hotel have a big swimming pool, have good view of Maha Tower and even we can see fireworks from the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Nearby have restaurants, cafe, bar, laundry and duty free shop, where is convenient by walking distance. Cons : Less variety of breakfast choice, if you are someone who just one something to eat in the morning, and rush for activities, this is the convenient to you. Away from the beach is 30mins, nothing much around this hotel area at night. If you like night market or shopping around and beach. Will recommend Pantai Cenang or Pantai Tengah area.

We really had a good stay. Excellent hospitaliy, complimentary hitea daily, near to shopping area, Dataran Lang, Tmn Lagenda, surrounded with good place to eat. Definitely will stay here again for my next visit to Langkawii 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🫶🏻

It could be a five…it has potential! But, first they give you a room in a building with mold! And you have to move to the building where the reception is…and that will cost you more money!...do not ask for the room to be clean because it is not going to be clean!...if you ask, you will get everything you ask , toilet paper, water, coffee…Internet is slow, slow and very slow, and non-existent at times! You do get nice sunset views, good breakfast and speedy check-out!

We had a very good stay at Bella Vista Hotel in Langkawi! The front desk staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any requests. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is great, especially for those who want to stay in Kuah, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. The pool bar was a fantastic spot to relax, offering great drinks at reasonable prices. The food was also good, making it convenient to dine in. The only downside was that the pool was closed for several days, which was a bit disappointing. However, despite this, we still had a lovely time and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Kuah.

I enjoy my stay there as I look for convenience. Since the hotel is link to a mall , it meets my requirements This place is not as atas as the other branded hotels but it's affordable for the budget mindful folks. I love that I get to park outside the hotel and next to the main road.
