We stayed at the Ecolodge one night before heading out into the jungle for three days, 2 nights with the local guides (https://www.local-guides.org/indonesia/bukit-lawang-jungle-trekking/) can also highly recommend this tour provider !).
Overall the accommodation was fine for the night. The restaurant at the Ecolodge is absolutely adorable and such a nice place to have some drinks and food (minimum amount for paying with a credit card is 80.000 IDR , so I would recommend to bring some cash !).
Also we were able to store our bags at the Eco lodge while we were out in the jungle ( per night and bag 10.000IDR including a locker for valuables ,also cash ).

This location is perfect! Stunning and looks onto the river. The rooms are spacious and very comfy, with mosquito nets to over the whole bed.
Service at reception was excellent and we were able to keep our luggage there over night for storage while we did an overnight jungle trek. (Highly recommended) I used Izoen, the guide, to help me organize everything needed for an enjoyable hike. Hafiz was also amazing and such a wonderful person to help when I didn’t feel well and took me to the pharmacy nearby. Very convenient, warm people and safe👌
There was just one thing I would have really liked. In the room there is no kettle and coffee/tea cups to make your own coffee and tea in the room. I think this could be a nice addition - since there are such beautiful balconies and porches to sit outside.
Also there was no shower gel or hand soap in shower area. But there was a hand soap by the sink.

Après avoir traversé un pont suspendu nous avons découvert le mini complexe. Les chambres sont agréables et la cuisine délicieuse à petit prix. Attention il n y a pas d eau chaude pour la douche. Pas un problème vu la température. Des singes animent le patc.

We spent one night at the Exo Lodge before going jungle trecking. The place was super nice and very much in pact with nature. You can just tell these friendly people care about the place and take the stewardship of the areas heritage and richness seriously. The rooms were simple but clean and nice. The jungle treck with Randy and Antor was an incredible experience - something we will never forgot. Saw 7 orangutangs and a bunch of other monkeys before reaching the camp site and getting a refreshing swim in the river surrounded by the breathtaking jungle. Everything was above and beyond, and the helpfulness of the guides truly amazing. I could not recommend this place and the experience enough. You will not regret and never forget it.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in der Ecolodge. Der Ort eignet sich super für Wanderungen im Nationalpark. Wir hatten einen tollen Guide und haben alles gesehen, was wir sehen wollten. Die Ecolodge ist insgesamt ein netter Ort, der sehr schön am Fluss gelegen ist und wo man auch entspannen kann. Unser Zimmer in der Ecolodge war trotz diverser Lampen recht dunkel. Wir hätten es auch toll gefunden, wenn die Fenster Fliegengitter gehabt hätten, dann hätte man sie problemlos öffnen können. Was uns gestört hat war, dass die Zimmer nicht gereinigt wurden, der Müll nicht geleert wurde, Toilettenpapier nicht ersetzt wurde. Im Zimmer waren viele ältere Spinnenweben, z.T. Exkremente kleinerer Tiere. Die Zimmer sind natürlich sehr offen und liegen direkt am Wald, trotzdem denke ich, könnte dort gründlicher gereinigt werden.
