We (my husband and I) stayed in the Buffalo Bill suite. It was more space than what we needed for the two of us, however, we enjoyed having the suite and gave us each time. He goes to bed early and gets up early, so we each had an amazing space to be individually without disturbing each other. The continental breakfast was above average with the local pastries stealing the show. Bobby was an amazing host for breakfast and was attentive without being obtrusive. Overall, this was a great experience and we’re looking forward to going back! When you go, check out the history of Lanesboro walking tour, the Visitor Center has the map and the Stonemill is part of the tour. Enjoy!!

We go to Lanesboro every year in July and bike. We also went back and saw a play and stayed over at the Stone Mill and Suites. Very nice place to stay very nice people and friendly and accommodating the rooms were very clean and a quiet area. The breakfast was great, and we really enjoyed our stay we have been going there for over 5 years and cannot say anything bad on this place if you haven't been there, you should try it, it's a cute place. They have a very nice area to sit and visit with people we met a lot of nice people on our visit... Also, the Community Theatre is only 1/2 block up street and beautiful brewery across the street from Stone Mill what more could ask for every room has its own theme, and we have stayed in a lot of different ones cannot find a bad one...... Try it sometimes you can't go wrong!!!!!!

Stayed at Stone Mill for two nights for my wife's 50th birthday. Absolutely loved it! We stayed in the Buffalo Bill Suite. The suite was quite large and was very clean on arrival. Had all the amenities we needed and then some! We loved the suite so much we are going to come back with our three children because the bunkhouse is perfect for kids, with three beds and their own private area. The hotel is perfectly located in Lanesboro for anything you want to do! Annie (owner) is terrific! You can't go wrong staying here!

Perfect in every way
Staff that feels like family, there to greet you, show you around, and make sure you are comfortable at every opportunity. Building is historic, so expect some rustic charm. Room was fantastic. Just a few yards from the brewery, where you will find more kind and welcoming folks. I would gladly stay here again.

We have been coming here for many years and that should speak volumes. The rooms, the property, the hospitality extended by Annie and her staff all come together to make this a 5-Star stay!! We are coming back next month and knowing it will be a repeat performance makes the 4 hour trip well worth it. It’s a must!

We had a horrible experience with the new owner of Stone Mill Suites. Unfortunately, Rick the previous owner sold it to very unprofessional and rude person. We both agreed we would never stay at this place again. We wouldn't go into ALL the details because there are way too many issues with the new owner. If we could go any lower than 1 star we would. This is our 1st and last visit at Stone Mill Suites as long as she is there. We will stay at Green Gables from now on. We have stayed at Stone Mill for many many years when Rick was the owner. At least Green Gables are more professional and not rude to their customers.
