Albergo d’epoca situato nella bellissima via principale di questa splendida città bavarese che pare rimasta ferma al suo glorioso passato. Bella struttura, elegante, tipicamente bavarese, arredata con mobili rustici ma raffinati. Camera molto graziosa, silenziosa, bagno non grande ma molto pulito. Comodo parcheggio a pagamento nel cortile privato. Forse la colazione, buona, avrebbe potuto essere più ricca.

The Good: Friendly staff Close to local restaurants and bars Rooms of a decent size The Bad: No air-conditioning Although double-glazed, the hotel fronts on to a noisy cobbled road which, on a hot evening, creates a trade off between uncomfortable heat or open windows and a noisy night. Reception is not manned after 1830, which for a four-star hotel, is unacceptable. Bar and restaurants not open on a Sunday or Monday evening. Geräumiges Zimmer, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, freundlicher Service an der Rezeption. Die deutliche Geräuschkulisse bis in die tiefe Nacht kann dem Hotel nicht angelastet werden und muss man wohl als Preis für die erstklassige Lage in der Innenstadt ansehen. Leider beim Frühstück personell unterbesetzt. Es kamen mehr Gäste als Plätze vorbereitet waren, die beiden Damen im Service waren sehr bemüht und im Laufschritt unterwegs, konnten aber nicht verhindern, dass ständig am Büffet Mangel herrschte. Mal fehlten die Brötchen, mal der Aufschnitt, mal der Kaffee, irgendetwas fehlte immer, was natürlich in Verbindung mit dem nicht ausreichenden Platzangebot teilweise zum Unmut der Gäste führte. Vermutlich lag das an der Stoßzeit an einem Tag mit Vollbelegung des Hotels, aber darauf kann man sich ja personell vorbereiten. Die defekte Kaffeekanne (deren Zapf-Mechanismus mit Sicherheit nicht erst an diesem Morgen kaputtgegangen ist) hätte längst ersetzt werden müssen und trug auch nicht wirklich zur Verbesserung der Laune bei.....

A truly magnificent hotel in the quaint old-town area of Landshut with dozens of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The breakfast was outstanding and included in the very reasonable price, as was private parking. The room was large and immaculate, and the wi-fi was superb. Frau Muller was so friendly and incredibly helpful with everything about the hotel (which also has a very nice restaurant and outside terrasse out back) and everything available to us nearby. If you're in the area, stay here. You won't be disappointed!
