We have stayed at several U Hotel branches, and this one truly stands out for its exceptional service. The staff warmly welcomed us and were very friendly, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. They were proactive in accommodating additional requests, and even the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to assist us, there was a small gap under the door where mosquitoes could enter the room, but the maid quickly addressed it by placing a cloth to seal it. We were genuinely impressed by their attentiveness and dedication to ensuring a pleasant experience. The only area for improvement would be the warm water system, as it didn’t function consistently. Apart from that, everything else was excellent

The comfort of the mattress cannot be described. 2 pillows which is what I needed and most hotels of the same class only provide 1. The blanket and pillowcase are very soft and smooth. I slept comfortably like in a five-star hotel. The breakfast is delicious and there are many choices. The atmosphere is good, the staffs are very good, I am also very impressed. I would like the hotel to improve the shower head. It should be changed to a soft one that doesn't hurt because the water flows very strongly.

I’ve read many reviews on this hotel and think some are unfair, in general the hotel is a little tired but not to the point it would effect a holiday, and although very big complex, was very quite, pool was very clean, no pool bar but phone and menus were available and staff brought drinks food out, we stayed in the royal suite for three nights this suite was amazing so much space, two separate bedrooms both with dressing rooms and en suits, two lounges and dining areas one on each floor, along with small kitchen area, and 5 balconies, the apartment could be accessed on both floors leading to a covered walkway, the view of the river was lovely. The hotel grounds are huge. There is a golf buggy that will take to you to entrance of grounds and it’s only 100mtr walk to bridge, there is a small market there and restaurants

Upon arriving a few hours before check-in time, we were warmly welcomed by the staff who swiftly checked us in. There was a free welcome refreshment drinks by the lobby for newly arrived guests. The hotel, styled in a colonial manner, is situated by the River Kwai, which is 1.4 km from downtown Kanchanaburi. The property appeared well-maintained, with elegant decor in the lounge and a delightful tropical garden. Photography enthusiasts can capture stunning shots of the riverside, featuring sunrises, sunsets, and passing boats. Although unsure if swimming is permitted, there are steps leading to the water. Our room overlooked the river and boasted a balcony. Complimentary fizzy drinks, mini chocolate bars, and snacks were provided. The room was spacious, featuring pristine Thai teak floors, high-quality wooden furniture, and comfortable beds. The bathroom was exceptional, offering a powerful hot/cold shower and a separate bathtub. Fresh, unstained bath towels were provided. The expansive pool had all necessary amenities, and the internet connection was reliable and fast. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of food with hot and cold drinks, while the lounge 'Terrace' menu featured reasonably priced international options. The onsite 'Rice Barge' floating Thai restaurant by the river served delicious dishes like pork curry, laab chicken, and phad thai with prawns. The staff were courteous, friendly, and attentive, providing assistance as required. Visitors can enjoy feeding the rescued rabbits in enclosures near the pool. Contact the reception for rabbit food. For transportation, having your own vehicle is advisable. The resort does not organise tours, but various tour activities can be found in the city. A nearby 7-11 store, located about 400 meters from the resort by foot. Please note that a 300 Baht fine is applicable for lost room keycards. This is a perfect spot if you are looking for some nice and quiet place away from the city. Thank you Dheva Mantra Resort team for making our stay relaxing. We will be back again.

Cross River Kwai. Luxury hotel in Kanchaburi. Nice staff, good service, glorious view, and perfect decoration. We stayed 1 night here (Type: X Float Luxe cabin) with complimentary snack bar, afternoon tea and bed time tea set. Breakfast is buffet and taste is good. Its location is really quite which is good for relax time. If you checked in here, you will love it like we did.

Very well kept hotel, on a quiet road very neat the Kwai bridge. Pleasant helpful staff, tasty breakfast. Taxi outside entrance. Room roomy and clean comfortable bed. Plenty of eating places near. Enjoyed out 2 night stay. Would recommend.

Booked for 2 nights in late March 2025, got a room on the 2nd floor in Building C (the innermost building). You have to walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor. If you get the 2nd floor, you have to park in the middle zone of the hotel, unlike rooms in other buildings that have only one floor. You can park in front of the room if you get a room. // Overall, it is considered moderately good. Before coming, I read many reviews from other people before deciding. People will praise it for being very quiet at night. When sleeping, it will be very dark. There is almost no disturbance, which is very true. There is no noise at all and the room has curtains that are closed. It is pitch black. For those who want to sleep soundly, they should like it. The room is spacious. It looks wider than usual from other hotels. The furniture in the room is good. There is a TV, a mini-bar refrigerator, a work desk, a hot water kettle (no coffee), a hair dryer, 2 bottles of water, a water heater, and a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. We booked the cheapest room. Breakfast was not included in the booking price, which is fine. I usually don't eat breakfast. Points that I would like to fix 1. The air conditioner in the room seems to be small compared to the size of the room. When the air conditioner is turned on, it takes longer than usual to cool down the room. It takes 2-3 hours to cool down. And we came to stay in the summer. The daytime is very hot. And when the air conditioner is too small and slow to cool, I get annoyed at this point. Points that I want to fix 2. - During the day, the room looks dark. The lights in the room are 5 warm-cool downlights. I feel that the area from the door to the middle of the room is too dark. This is because the front of the room has clear glass, but outside the room, there are wooden latticework as a screen to block the view. And I can't fix this. So I feel that there is not enough natural light into the room. Actually, it would be better to remove the wooden lattice because there are already curtains at the clear glass windows. Customers can choose to open and close the curtains to control the amount of light into the room. But when there are wooden latticework, the room is very dark. Normally, I like to work on computers in the room, but this hotel makes me want to work less because I can't control the light in the room. 3. There is no bedside table. Normally, when I go to other hotels, there will be one to put my mobile phone, clock, or other valuables near the headboard. But when there is no bedside table here, I feel strange that there is none. So I have to fix the situation by bringing a chair without a backrest instead. Other things are good. The staff provides good service and speaks well. The housekeeper takes good care of me.

Booked a pool villa but found water leaking from the ceiling because of rain in about 4-5 spots and the air conditioner was dripping. Also, when checking out, the toilet wouldn't flush. But the staff were very nice and opened an additional room for us. The first room had a hot coil that didn't work. The second room had a leaking shower hose, which the staff and technician fixed until we were able to move in. The staff gave us 3 more pieces of cake as a bonus. We ate 6 pieces in total and received a 1,000 baht coupon to buy coffee, drinking water, and tea in the shop.

Oh. So it really depends on what you want yea. If you wish to be far from the cosmopolitan cities areas - this would be ideal. It really gives you the vibe of being in your own world with your own friends. It's far from town, so please ensure you have bought all you needed during the stay. Swimming Pool is a bit dirty but you can't blame them as it's a dusty country side. The food is splendid. Pre-order you dinner, service and food was great. The rooms are beautiful and nice to take photos but quality of materials used for partition and toilet is poor.

The room is clean, there are tables and chairs outside the door, you can eat outside, the restaurant is next to the main road, but it is very quiet, there are shopping malls, KFC, cinemas next to the hotel, the living functions are very good, there is free coffee in the hotel lobby, and the counter staff serves 24 hours a day. Very good accommodation experience.
