We recently stayed at this stunning 8-bedroom private villa in the Dago area of Bandung, and it exceeded every expectation for a family reunion/group getaway. Nestled in the cool highlands, the villa offers breathtaking natural surroundings with lush greenery everywhere, both outside in the beautifully landscaped grounds and inside with thoughtful plant integrations that make the space feel fresh and alive. All the rooms facing a stunning hills. The layout is incredibly practical for larger groups: • 2 underground floors, each with 2 spacious bedrooms (4 bedrooms total downstairs), perfect for privacy or families with kids. • Ground floor features a massive, fully equipped kitchen with every utensil you could need, a large dining table for group meals, huge tv with comfy sofa, and a fantastic sound-proof karaoke room that kept the fun going late without disturbing anyone. • 2 upper floors, each with 2 bedrooms (another 4 upstairs), all comfortable and well-appointed. Every bedroom is ensuite (private bathrooms), and the villa comfortably sleeps 16–24 people depending on extra beds. One of the absolute highlights is the private heated swimming pool, a game-changer in Bandung’s chilly highland weather (we loved dipping in when temperatures hovered between 16–24°C). The water stays perfectly warm, making it enjoyable even on cooler evenings. The pool area feels luxurious and relaxing with those mountain/city views. Everything is provided thoughtfully: unlimited mineral water, complete kitchen setup (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.), clean linens, WiFi, and plenty of space. The huge parking area in front easily accommodated multiple cars, no stress about parking at all. The design embraces nature beautifully, lots of glass for natural light, open spaces, and that signature Dago greenery that makes you feel like you’re in a peaceful retreat away from the city buzz, yet still close enough to cafes and attractions. If you’re looking for a spacious, fully-facilitated private villa for a big family, friends’ trip, or celebration in Bandung, this place is highly recommended. The heated pool alone makes it stand out in the cool climate. We’ll definitely be back! Rating suggestion: 5/5 stars Would stay again? Absolutely!

a stylish accommodation with a small pool. the pool has warm water and is available 24/7. however, it is far from bandung city center, which results in significant grab costs. you should plan nearby sightseeing together. since it’s not a hotel, there are no additional facilities outside the accommodation itself, making the overall value for money not very good. the room lacks a refrigerator, and the air conditioner is extremely noisy. ordering meals takes a long time to be processed, so if you have a pre-planned schedule, delayed meals could disrupt your plans. still, if you’re looking to spend a romantic time in the outdoor hot water pool, this place is ideal.

Great location of the cabin, but bit far and challenges to arrived at the location. Staffs are friendly. Food is average. Inside the cabin is awesome. Yet maintenance thoroughly is needed. We’ll be back someday!

Malaysian here. Tak pasti kalau aku 1st Malaysian yang checked in kat sini. Tapi biar lah aku share pengalaman aku kat sini. View is stunning and highly recommended for first timer. Kenapa ? Sebab nak masuk Bobocabin ni, kau kena bayar kawah putih fee + private car (supir) aka extra charges WALAUPUN KAU TAK MASUK KAWAH PUTIH. I’m well aware as I read some Indonesian reviews before come here plus ni pertama kali aku ke Indonesia, so okay la dah alang2 nak masuk kawah putih sekali. Fee IDR 90k per pax untuk kawah putih & IDR 179k untuk private car (supir). Sekali bayar je. Bobocabin ni MEMANG LAWA GILA. Suhu boleh capai 13degree pada waktu malam. Bawa makanan sesiap Dari Bandung sebab kat sini takda kedai. Sila gerak Dari Bandung selewatnya 1pm sebab kadang jalan jem time weekend & dari entrance kawah putih ke Bobocabin ni dalam 7km by car. Kalau korang sampai selepas jam 5, jalan terlalu gelap & takda proper signage ke Bobocabin ni. We were lucky since we arrived at Kawah Putih around 6pm and got 1 pakcik follow & show the way to the Bobocabin, selain bantu temankan supir aku yang penakut tu. Hahaha. Bless u Pakcik! Perjalanan dihidangkan dengan ladang teh yang berbukit bukau. Takda lampu jalan, off-road dan kami diberitahu yang BoboCabin ni berada di atas Gunung Mayit (?). Dari atas Bobocabin ni boleh nampak lampu2 dari Bandung, Situ Patenggang, bukit2 dan gunung2. Pihak cabin ada sediakan water heater, hair dryer, microwave TAPI TAKDA SETERIKA ! 🤣 They sell food but less option. Mostly sold out. Better bawa sesiap k! Stayed 2 nights at Fox Majalaya. Finally, Majalaya has a hotel, and even though it's the only one so far, I was really happy with it! The service was friendly, the hotel was clean, and the pool didn't smell of chlorine. I originally planned for one night but ended up staying two because it was so comfortable. Next time I'm back home, I'll definitely stay at Fox Hotel Majalaya again ☺

The location is Ok. My first time here in Dago. It is located beside pesantren and mosque. You can hear the people recites alquran and also azan. I booked 2 rooms here next to each other facing the pool/garden. I believe that Dago Heuvel has been there since many many years. The properties is pretty from the outisde, but inside. It was a bit disappointed. Understand that the price we paid was low and it came with breakfast. But I di believe that the properties need to have good maintenance inside the room especially the toilet. The water pressure at the toilet and bidet, oh my god it was very low pressure. We experienced a hard time to flush the toilet, we thought that it was broken. We tried and tried, hustle to get all the poops goes in. Please fix the flush and do maintenance at both of the toilets. We dont care if there is a bit dirty on the duvet, comforter or shower and also crack at most of the walks. But no excuse on the toilet. You have such a beautiful view overlooking Intercontinental hotel and etc, please improve on the toilet ya. The breakfast is Ok. Bed is comfortable but pillow was very thin but no problem on that. Ok that’s all Thanks

The hotel occupy a pretty large area, nice to jog in the morning within the hotel compound itself. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast spread and taste is not the best out there, some might like it, some don't, really subject to your preference. The location is a bit ”out of nowhere” if you don't drive, there are no eateries nor convenience shop within comfortable walking distance. Overall it's a nice hotel and the staffs are friendly.

When staying for a long weekend, access to Ciwidey was very congested at that time, so when I got to the hotel it was already around 8pm when it was still drizzling and when I checked in it turned out it was already full so I got a room in the corner on the top with a bamboo wood floor, it was a bit difficult to go up and down from the 2nd floor because I was still carrying suitcases huhuuu..

Hi. We love to stay in here as we can get new experience. The staffs were very helpful and kind. But there are some points that need to be improved. It would be helpful if the hotel sign were made more visible to guests, especially at night. We arrived in the evening and had difficulty locating the hotel because the sign was hard to spot. Then, when we want to use the cutleries, we found there was still dirt on the spoon like they didnt wash it yet. Last, pls consider your 5-6 persons room, i think it seems a bit forced to advertise that the room for 5-6 persons capacity. Thank you! :)
