The best hotel in Jingmai, Huimin Town
It was newly opened this year and is very cost-effective. The location is opposite to Huimin Town Government, and it is easy to find.
All smart appliances can be voice-controlled, the details inside it, small supporting equipment, I think it is a first-tier city.
Very clean, please keep it.
Jingmai Mountain has limited conditions, and it is still comfortable to live here. You can live here by car. Recommend this hotel ~
Review: Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) - A Tea Mountain Retreat
As a self-proclaimed “well-travelled” individual, I never expected Jingmai Mountain to take my breath away again—but it truly did. The journey here is a testament to Yunnan’s untouched beauty, with rolling emerald tea fields, ancient forests, and villages where ethnic tribes have lived for generations.
We decided to stay at Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) instead of the many BnBs on the mountain, having often found those overpriced and lacking in cleanliness. What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be!
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made it feel like home. Many of the team members come from nearby tea-farming communities, and their passion for the land was palpable. They didn’t just serve tea—they shared stories of the heritage behind it, offering insights into the different tea varieties and local traditions.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality linens. I loved waking up to the sound of roosters and the first rays of sunshine streaming through the window. If you’re like me and prefer to leave the window open at night, the fresh mountain air is the perfect way to start your day.
For breakfast, don’t miss the fresh rice noodles and seafood congee—so flavorful! The fruit selection was also fresh and changed daily.
A pleasant surprise was finding Cha Ling (a premium LVMH brand) as the hotel’s amenity. Made with tea extract, it added a luxurious touch to my stay.
One of my favorite experiences was the traditional tea baking session, Wei Lu Kao Cha. We gathered around a carbon stove, sipped Pu’er tea, ate locally harvested fruit and nuts, and learned to bake our own tea leaves under the guidance of tea masters.
The staff’s pride in their cultural heritage shone through in every interaction, making what could have been a simple stay feel like an immersive cultural journey.
For anyone looking to experience the authentic soul of Yunnan’s tea mountains, Eterna Venue Hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it provides a meaningful connection to this beautiful region.

Room: The space is large, the chaise longue and the bedding are very comfortable, but the bath water is not big, the water is not hot, it is warm.
Breakfast: relatively simple, is a bowl of rice noodles or rice noodles, the practice is too simple, some perfunctory (as native Yunnan people know the regular practice of rice noodles)
Service: From check-in to check-out, I didn’t feel the service. I didn’t even have a smiley face. Maybe the New Year’s room didn’t have to worry about booking. The hotel will charge 200 deposits, but the room does not have any consumption items. I have encountered the only deposit ”hotel” for more than 10 days. When checking out, the deposit will be refunded.
Environment: The hotel is in a small road, next to the farmer's market, as a way to Jingmai Mountain, it will be a night.
The overall feeling is very general. In the morning, I rushed up the mountain to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds. The car was blocked by other vehicles. The store also had no solution. I still found a way to let the store help find the driver. Finally, it took us more than 40 minutes to find the driver to move the car. I missed the best time to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds, some regrets

GGuest UserThe most fortunate thing about staying in Jingmai Mountain during the May Day Golden Week is that I chose to stay in Wengwa. About one kilometer away from Wengji Ancient Village is Wengwa Ancient Village, which is full of indigenous people. You can switch from noisy to quiet with just one click. The innkeeper is a Wa girl born in 1998. She has two lovely children and is very capable and enthusiastic. When it rained heavily and I couldn't go out, I drank tea from the proprietress's house, tried all kinds of authentic ethnic dishes, and ate bananas and plums directly picked from the trees. Because the accommodation was so comfortable, I stayed there for two consecutive nights. Her house at the entrance of the village is a natural viewing platform for watching the sunset. You can watch the sunset and the clouds without leaving the house. All the photos in the film were taken in Wengwa! Few people and beautiful scenery! After visiting the Jingmai Mountain attractions, I couldn’t wait to return to the quiet Wengwa. If you want to experience a pure paradise and the authentic life of the aboriginals, I highly recommend going there. It will definitely be a surprise! I seldom write comments, but I couldn't help but write a short essay to share.
GGuest UserLocation and convenience: Describe the location of the hotel and whether it is convenient to reach the main attractions, business districts or transportation. Facilities and services: evaluate the facilities offered by the hotel, such as gym, swimming pool, business center, etc., as well as the quality of customer service, including the efficiency and friendliness of the front desk staff. Room comfort: discuss the cleanliness of the room, the size of the space, the comfort of the bed, and any special amenities (such as flat-screen TV, minibar, etc.)
KKungeshuotianxiashiFacilities: The facilities look old at any time, but they are actually good. The facilities are also quite complete, toothpaste and toothbrushes are good, as well as cotton swabs and sewing kits. There is a gym, a swimming pool, and the parking lot is quite large, but there are still not enough people and cars during the Spring Festival. The outside of the air conditioner is outside the window, the sound is relatively loud, I hope it can be improved.
Hygienic: The first feeling of the whole room is OK as soon as the door is opened, but when I sleep at night, there is a smell of sewer in the bathroom that spreads to the room. I have to close the bathroom door to smell it.
Environment: The location is 200 meters next to the National Square, 5 minutes walk, and the Spring Festival is also more lively and there is a party. It is not noisy at night. The breakfast room is also relatively large, the environment is elegant, and the dishes are quite complete.
Service: Bring children to stay, lack of toothbrush slippers, tell the front desk 5 minutes after delivery.
Hotel leisure area tea break: a can of tea presented, after two bubbles, tastes good, it is worthy of a tea resort! Forgot to take pictures
GGuest UserIt was my second time to visit Jingmai Mountain. I had long thought about booking room 80 with a balcony on the second floor. This time I stayed there for a week. The last two nights I stayed in the same room on the first floor. Each room had its own characteristics and I liked them all very much. You can see the sea of clouds from the room and the balcony. The homestay is in the middle of the village. It feels great to watch people coming and going from the balcony. The boss and his wife also cook delicious food. On New Year's Eve, the boss treated everyone to roast pork. The longer I stayed, the more times I was able to enjoy it. The boss is a hard-working person who has high standards and qualities for himself and his career. The boss's wife is gentle, quiet and loves life. There are many plants and flowers in the homestay, which are check-in and photo spots in the village. The layout is very clean and beautiful.
GGuest UserLet me first say the conclusion, this homestay has an unbeatable value for money!
If you have money to spend, don't come here.
I did a lot of research before coming here, and finally decided to stay at this hotel because of its low price. We were quite nervous before entering the room, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the room being very clean and tidy.
This house has a terrace, which is perfect for photographing the sunset. How about the sunset photo I took?
When I was drinking tea with the landlady in the evening, I asked her what time we would get up tomorrow morning to take pictures of the sunrise. The landlady said that the location of her B&B was not suitable for taking pictures of the sunrise, but we could see the sea of clouds, and we had to go to the octagonal pavilion to take pictures of the sunrise.
The boss and his wife are both from the Bulang ethnic group. They are very simple and not very talkative, but they are very nice people. It can be seen that he really wants to run the B&B well.
When I was drinking tea with the proprietress, the black peanuts she served were very special.
To be honest, the wooden buildings in the village are not as soundproof as brick and tile houses. Therefore, if you want to judge the sound insulation effect, it is not recommended to stay in the traditional houses of the Bulang and Dai ethnic groups. I had already given my wife and children some warnings before choosing this B&B. It turns out that after driving on the mountain road for so long, everyone was exhausted and slept soundly, so they didn't care about the sound insulation. Haha
GGuest UserThe B&B has a sense of design and the viewing platform is beautiful, but the most important function of the B&B is not well done. The hygiene of the room is worrying, the public area is cluttered with sundries, and there are mouse traps. The water dispenser for making coffee on the terrace is green, and teapots that have been used for making tea are placed everywhere and have not been cleaned.
The design of the shower area in the room is weird. It is connected to the tatami, but there is no partition. The water in the shower will directly hit the tatami. The niche for shampoo is outside the shower cubicle. There is no place to put bottles and cans in the shower room. The partition is not sealed, and there is water everywhere on the ground after taking a shower.
The most unbearable thing is the mineral water in the room. I booked two rooms, and both had this problem. Two of the four bottles of water were opened and drunk by others!
The service staff are all from the village. They may not have professional hotel service capabilities, but the hygiene problem is unbearable. After all, it is a room of nearly one thousand. They dare to open such a high price. At least the basic functions of the hotel should be done well. I came to Yunnan for nine days and stayed in the most unsatisfactory hotel, which failed the beautiful scenery of Jingmai Mountain!
GGuest UserTwo nights stay.
The next day, I arrived at the room door but couldn't get in after swiping the room card, so I went back to the front desk. The lady at the front desk kept saying, ”You're staying for two nights.” 😭
At 12:20-40 am on the second night, someone was crying and singing in the corridor. I couldn’t understand a word of it. It was very creepy…
I called the front desk to inform them of the situation, went upstairs to drive them away, and they came back crying 2 minutes later. It was so frustrating!
Is it possible that the hotel has no surveillance in public areas? 😰😰😰
XXiaowangzia-17The only inn in the ancient village of Ligan (seems to be), parking is convenient. There is a parking space in the scenic spot (at the entrance of the village). You can contact the boss to pick up your luggage. People with less luggage walk in quickly. The accommodation conditions are clean as a whole, the whole village is the original village without modification, the locals cook rice and smoke, the room is wooden, the sound is not good, you can take a bath with hot water, although small but complete. The boss is very enthusiastic and there is also a restaurant to eat. At night, just in time for the village celebrations, Zhaixin roasting fire dancing ~ The original ecology is a good place, much better than Wengji, there is no commercialization here, and it is protected.
GGuest UserThe location of the B&B is very good. You can see the sea of clouds from the window, and it is very convenient to go to various scenic spots in Jingmai Mountain. Brother Xiao Li's cooking is super delicious, especially the stewed local chicken with crab legs. The taste can be described as amazing. The host family is very enthusiastic. They drink his good tea and listen to them tell the story of Jingmai Mountain. It’s hard to say! They also showed us their thousand-year-old tea tree.
FFC6685I originally planned to book this hotel to see the sea of clouds, but the weather was too good so there was no sea of clouds. However, the sunrise from the platform of the inn was also great. The owner's family has a large tea factory, and the inn is just a sideline business, so drinking tea and eating are very casual. The owner's wife will take you around the village and see the tea ancestor tree when she has time. It feels very relaxing. I will come again in January next time to see the winter cherry blossoms and the sea of clouds.
