I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Red Pepper. My room was always Clean. The Food was very good and Fresh. I enjoyed a guided Lamu Town Tour and a sunset dhow cruise. The Staff managed by Joseph were so helpful and Professional. Many to Aisha and Kasena for the personalised Service and making sure I was always comfortable. Definitely coming back for a longer stay.

Enjoyed my stay at red pepper! Joseph is star, together with Faith, Captain and the whole Team! The food was amazing! The house is beautiful! Very aesthetic. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful holiday! The sunset dhow was the best part of the trip!

Nach einer Safari durch die Nationalparks in Kenia und Tansania hatten wir Anfang März noch 4 Tage Lamu im Red Pepper House gebucht, um die Insel zu erkunden. Das Red Pepper Houase hat unsere Erwartungen übererfüllt. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas nördlich der Altstadt und ist ideal, wenn man Ruhe suchte und das Gedränge in Lamu Old Town oder das Getöse der Strandurlauber in Shela eher meiden möchte. Besonders erwähnenswert ist das aufmerksame und freundliche Personal der Anlage, das den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. Auch der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Frühstück und Dinner waren geschmacklich und optisch ein Highlight.

Wonderful hotel, from the moment you walk up the beach to be greeted by the staff - who are all so helpful and welcoming. There are only 5 rooms, and we were the only ones stay, so had full attention of the staff. The rooms are lovely individual cottages, which may be a little limited for space inside, but with lots of private outside space this isn't a problem. There's no air conditioning, but large fans provide some draught. Our setting for breakfast and dinner was a surprise each day, and the food was really good. Everything clean and tidy too, plus complimentary laundry service. The manager, Joseph, took us on a tour of the local town, which was really informative and interesting. Thanks to all the other staff too; Asha, Kasena, Alfred, Munawar, Janet, Shehka and Vincent.

We had such a good stay here. The views are wonderful, the rooms are so comfortable and the staff are excellent. We had great trips on the House dhow - the sundowner and the day trip to a beautiful beach. We also had a very good guided tour of Lamu town. The staff are amazing. They did a musical evening for us, and all came down to the beach to say goodbye as we left. This is absolutely the lace to stay on Lamu

Acabamos de terminar biaje y estancia en de The Red Pepper House y puedo decir honestamente que nos vamos muy gratamente satisfechos por todo: Alojamiento, comidas, atencion y excursiones, sin olvidar las magnificas puestas de sol por las tardes en el barco que pusieron a nuestra disposicion. En resumen , estancia muy repetible y volveremos.
