The Maxine Hotel Adults Only

Très joli hôtel avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et les montagnes des chambres et du restaurant . Tout l’hôtel vient d’être rénové donc tout est moderne et très propre.Chambres spacieuses surtout les suites « maisonnettes » qui ont un grand espace salon avec grand balcon terrasse et une chambre sur mezzanine ouverte sur le salon. Très grand lit avec très bonne literie tout est neuf et de belle qualité . Les peintures sont blanches et les pièces joliment décorées moderne et sobre. Très grande douche vitrée qui donne sur le salon !! C’est spéciale mais on s’y fait !!! Tout comme l’espace lavabo qui est en fait dans le couloir !!! Adult only heureusement !!! Très bel espace piscine avec pool bar, énormément de vent mais je dirais presque heureusement sinon on ne tiendrait pas vu la chaleur . Petit dej et repas du soir très correct . Buffet de crudités et soupe puis le plat (que vous choisissez le matin 3 choix)vous est servit à table. Personnel souriant et très gentil. Voiture indispensable car loin de tout . Très belles vacances reposantes à Maxine Hôtel .

A quiet complex. The hotel is modernly furnished. A wardrobe in the room would be advisable. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was very good.

Hotel très calme et tres propre. Agréable et bien situé. Notre chambre supérieure était très spacieuse avec joli e terrasse et belle vue. Bémol matelas un peu trop mou pour ma part. très curieux lavabo dans l'entrée. Salle de douche avec WC sans lavabo. Bon petit déjeuner. Personnel courtois

We hadden een mooie gerenoveerde kamer met uitzicht op zee. Prima boxspring, grote inloopdouche en voldoende kastruimte. Het hele hotel heeft qua interieur een mooi design, alles is op elkaar afgestemd. ‘s ochtends wordt er een goed ontbijtbuffet geserveerd met een grote keus aan verse producten. Het hotel heeft een mooie ligging, 1,5km buiten het dorp tussen de olijfbomen. Betekent wel dat je goed ter been moet zijn, want het hotel ligt ook iets hoger. Vriendelijk en hardwerkend personeel. Wellicht wat tips: Ik denk dat het koffieapparaat in de ontbijtruimte vervangen moet worden, na een aantal kopjes sprong het apparaat in een storing, dit gebeurde diverse keren in een uur tijd. We miste ook koffie en thee faciliteiten op onze kamer, een kop koffie is bijv. wel lekker als je wakker wordt. Ook zou 4x per week schone handdoeken wenselijk zijn, we hadden op vrijdag schone handdoeken en de volgende keer was pas maandag. Voor de rest een super hotel wat we zo weer zouden boeken

Heerlijk hotel voor een weekje relaxen. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en helpt graag. De kamer was heel netjes, werd iedere dag schoon gemaakt en de bedden lagen heerlijk. De ligging is perfect, je kan wandelen naar het strand van agia Galini waar een wandelboulevard loopt van het strand tot aan het oude centrum. Onderweg zijn winkels, supermarkten, restaurants en pinautomaten te vinden. Absolute aanrader voor een weekje relaxen.

Overall a pleasant hotel with a nice view and friendly staff. Cleanliness of the rooms is appropriate for 3 stars. However, I would like to mention one negative event. In the early morning of the day of departure I found my vehicle parked. At 7:00 a.m. there was still no one in the hotel who could help. Now comes a mishap that I can only attribute to myself. I saw an opportunity to move the car through a gap in the steep slope. It went wrong and the car landed in the ditch. Hectic and time pressure (flight) had played along. After about 1.5 hours trying to pull the car out together with a very helpful hotel guest (2 ropes had already snapped) a caretaker came with the right rope and the car was pulled out. With a neat dent on the fender. Luckily I had fully comprehensive insurance with no excess. And now comes the real criticism. It turned out that the car that had been parked was a hotel employee whose bungalow was directly opposite. Without an apology, she pointed out that the key was in the car and that the car could have been moved. Who? should come to it. This employee was very well known and also received the guests at the reception. I felt the absolute impertinence and real no-go for a hotel. After the incident there was not even a contact from the hotel or an apology. The flight was gone, of course, and I had to pay for a replacement flight myself. Rental car drivers are warned: if you want to book this hotel, park your car on the level and climb the steep slope to the entrance on foot. The already rare parking spaces directly at the hotel are also used by the hotel employees in a peculiar way.

Dit hotel is vergane glorie. Kamers worden gerenoveerd maar het is net niet. Zwembad is vies en onveilig, airco werkt niet, geen wifi, ontbijt is enorm karig/gewoon slecht te noemen. Wordt in 2 uur tijd gebruikt door te veel mensen en dat kunnen ze niet aan. Ook amper verse producten, lijkt alsof het allemaal niets mag kosten. Gebruikte toiletartikelen in toilet. Parkeren is een drama. Rondom de kamers is het ook niet bepaald schoon te noemen. Eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en probeert mee te denken maar is niet geschikt voor het runnen van zo'n groot hotel. Foto's op diverse websites tonen een ander beeld dan wat het in werkelijkheid is

The Hotel Maxine is a family-run hotel. The rooms have a nice view of the sea due to the location further up in the village - you should be able to walk (steep path to the hotel). Pool area small but perfectly adequate and nicely designed with a basic pool bar offering snacks and drinks. Rooms in the standard area very simple, in need of renovation (cracks in the toilet seat area (hygiene!) and in the shower tray), odors in the bathroom from the drains). Superior room area - beautifully renovated and sufficient furniture for short stays - not enough storage space and hooks for hanging up for longer stays (e.g. in the bathroom, few coat hangers, etc.), nice, large terrace, service - breakfast staff very friendly and quick on the road - Top! Pool bar staff very reserved (empty glasses and plates are not cleared away despite bees) and unfortunately partly rude when asking about the menu and no effort to provide information if you were ignorant of the offer. No independent replenishment of toilet paper, towels, hand soap, hand disinfection in the public toilets by the pool (hygiene?) Service reception: no cleaning of the room at regular intervals despite a stay of 14 days - only on request :(. No refilling of toilets - Paier, towels, change of bed linen - only on request. Unfortunately, we were not informed of this when we checked in. When we moved, the suitcases were not transferred to the new room :( and therefore stood in the public area near the door all day Questions about refills, wishes or information about things to do are always friendly and approachable.A family-run, simple hotel where the service unfortunately can still be improved in order to offer a relaxed and unforgettable stay without always having to ask about the smallest things.
