We live on Arran and lost power for 3 nights due to the storm that hit the UK. After the second night we desperately needed hot water and some heat so booked the family suite. We phoned up the hotel to see if we could have an early check in and late check out due to the situation at home and they were extremely accommodating. We were treated like family and the suite was exactly what we needed. The evening food and breakfast were incredible and we can't thank the hotel enough for the help they gave us. Arran is a beautiful place but it's the community spirit that makes it so special.

Enjoyable and memorable
We had some business to attend to on the island and decided to treat ourselves to a nice hotel. Lamlash Bay did not disappoint! A very nice welcome from the owner/manager and shown to a beautiful double-aspect room with two very comfortable queen beds. The dinners were outstanding with Wojcek's Cullen skink exceptional - so much so that we have encouraged him to enter the World Championship! Great restaurant service from Isla and Melissa (and two other ladies whose names I have forgotten). We loved the cosy bar with its open fire and big leather wing chairs. Marvellous. All in all, an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Such a lovely place to stay in winter. It was warm, cosy and very comfortable. Food was to a high standard - delicious restaurant menus with a great variety of choices. Staff were super helpful, friendly and happy - seemed to love their jobs ! I left my phone adaptor behind and they posted it to me straight away!

Had the best new year at the lamlash bay hotel. After a few issues with ferries we eventually arrived for the hogmany package. We couldn't have had a warmer welcome. The room was lovely with a fantastic, and ever changing view of holy island. We soon had a drink in our hand and enjoying an excellent dinner in the cosy bar. The whole experience was excellent and David, Steph and the team were amazing hosts. Special shout out to Kyle who patiently showed us how to make delicious cocktails and converted us to the pleasures of whisky. Thank you to all at the lamlash; we will be back!
