Baymont by Wyndham Golden/Red Rocks

It was an excellent stay everything was perfect. The staff was so welcoming and cordial with anything needed. Check-in was very speedy. I have no complaints and would return as well as recommend to others for an affordable and comfortable place to stay.

Rude staff!!! Unfriendly and unprofessional!! Front desk ignored our early check in. Had to wait over an hour to get into our room. Gross, moldy base boards in our room. Smelled very moldy in the room. Very dirty. Would not stay again. Do not recommend!!

Just plain disgusting. Many more clean hotel options near by. 2 rooms, 4 beds all bedspreads and sheets completely wrinkled. Blood (?) on walls and sofa sleeper, disengaged and unprofessional employees. So much more to report on but I don't have time.....

If you're looking for a cheap stay (cheap for the area) and the bare minimum this place will do just fine. It was a good location for us as we were there for a Red Rocks show. I was not made aware they offered shuttle service to the events but that's fine as we were meeting local friends for dinner beforehand anyway. The pillows are sad, the beds are hard, I was told they didn't have extra towels or pillows. I eventually received 2 extra towels (My guest and I each needed two- one for hair, one for body). Our floor had a sticky film from whatever cleaning product they used. Keep in mind walls are thin and pets are allowed so you may not get a quiet night's sleep. The breakfast also leaves something to be desired. When booking on the Baymont Website there wasn't a place for me to enter my AAA or employer discounts, but it said it was just keeping my card on file to hold the reservation and I wouldn't be charged until check out. Well, when arriving for check in I asked about honoring these discounts and was informed that the card had already been charged and the price could not be changed. So, I'd recommend calling and trying to book over the phone if you intend to use any discounts before they get your CC info. This trip was for my birthday and while I know 3 nights for $324 in the area is a decent deal, I kind wish this wasn't the place I booked for the most nights of my trip. (2 travel days, 3 days stay, 2 days travel back home).

Thank goodness this hotel had a few rooms left as we were in need of a place to stay at 7:30 pm Room was nice, had a good sleep and hot water and nothing clogged up Breakfast had waffle machine, cold/hot cereal, bread, bagels. Not the greatest eggs LaQuinta in Golden was horrible as I booked it back in April for our 2,400 mile journey it had No Hot water/phone & sink backed up and refused to offer a refund. Don't go to LaQuinta go to the Baymont instead way better hotel.

Needs updated..beds are hard as a rock. Bathroom fixtures and furniture was broken. Only 2 floors, but no elevator., so if you can’t climb stairs be sure you ask for the first floor. Also, our deadbolt didn’t work on our door and we didn’t know until we came back to our room late that night.

How can Wyndham allow this property to represent them? I can no longer trust any property with Wyndham associated with it. Obviously they ignore the high number of negative reviews. You think maybe they have a problem here? DO NOT STAY HERE!

Hotel is in need of significant upgrades and repairs. It is clear that Wynham has not put any money into this place for years. The staff was exceptional though.

Felt unsafe in the parking lot, and decided not stay despite booking two rooms for two nights. Offered to pay for the first night and cancel the second upon arrival, but hotel would not per my booking policy through *******. I would not stay here not will I book through ******* in the future.
