Lovely hotel, situated in a great location for exploring the lakes, great hosts. Breakfast was superb & rooms were clean & spacious. Will book again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel in lovely scenic setting with gardens available for enjoying the views. Rooms well furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast very tasty and plenty of choice and everyone friendly and helpful. A lovely relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very peaceful surroundings. Our outlook (Room 2) was on trees and farm fields, with no hint of the busy road close by. The decor is a little tired in the public areas but overall we had a lovely stay and slept well. The ability to leave your car in the grounds if you arrive before check-in time is a great asset in this popular area where public car parks are often full.

We had a great stay at Crow How. Within walking distance to Ambleside, no need to fight for a parking spot for dinner in town. Easy to find, but a great, quiet location outside of town. Breakfast was a five star experience and the owners gave great local recommendations. I would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area. Great Stay! Highly Recommended!

A wonderful stay. The whole house is spotless, the breakfast is really good, the location ideal, and prices are very reasonable. I cannot fault this guesthouse and we would stay here again when are in the area. Oh, and the garden and views are an added bonus.

A blissful escape from vehicle noise, yet only a mile walk into Ambleside for a drink or meal. Our room was spacious, with plenty of storage space; there is a comfortable lounge if the weather is too foul for walking and a drying room if you venture out despite a bit of rain. Breakfast and general service were good, and we liked the little extra touches: fresh milk for the room on request; eggs cooked to order at breakfast; guidance in each room on local walks. We would happily stay here again.

Lovely stay at Crow How. Beautiful house in gorgeous surroundings. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was large, spotlessly clean with some lovely views of the garden and countryside. Breakfast was also excellent. Would highly recommend Crow How.

Really beautiful place to stay, clean, comfortable and great hosts. Location could not be better, beautiful walks straight from the door. Its only a short walk into Ambleside where there are many great shops and a variety of places to eat. Have been a few times and will be returning.
