JJJJSWSWe had a great one night stay at the apartment and wish that we could stayed longer. The place is full of amenities needed for living all spotless clean. Great location in a very peaceful neighborhood. Beds are super comfy. We would love to recommend to our friends and would love to be back again.

GGuest UserThe place is lovely, but unfortunately the host didn’t send me instructions how to check in. We had to look for WiFi in a public place to be be able to call him. It took us a while to find it. There was no shampoo, only 2in 1. Ladies with long hair, bring your own shampoo and hair conditioner. Otherwise the place is new and comfortable.

CCherryLucky enough to experience the heaviest snowstorm in Tekapo on the day we arrived in June. We had a wonderful night in the unit, it has everything you needed. Due to the snow, the management extended out check out time to 12pm instead. Leaving with a heavy heart, would definitely come back again.

TTanAndyThe stay was good, quite a new apartment for a family of 3, I think it can stay up to 4. Just that, quite a distance from Lake Tekapo, which we need to walk 10 -15 minutes to reach the Lake to view Milky way. There are some minor defers that was there before my stay, hope they could fix for the next stay. Overall, I love the view and hope to stay there again.

FFayreWe are couple with a 5 year old girl. We paid SGD697.85 (Singapore dollar) for staying 2 nights in this “2 bedroom apartment” as stated.
3 points here to explain the terrible experience.
1. tv remote is not working. I don’t mind the owner making excuse like “ replied customer’s message within 20mins…..” but they actually took 29mins to reply (19:10 till 19:39). In fact, they didn’t manage to change the tv remote in the end. So I stayed 2 nights without using the TV!
2.there is no clear and obvious description that this “2 bedroom apartment” is actually an adjoining unit which means when u walked into the front door then there are 2 doors link to split parts of the apartment. The problem of adjoining units are thin walls are used to split the apartment into 2 small units. When u stay in this kind of apartment, u have to endure all kind of noises from whoever staying in neighboring rooms. We had 2 days enduring guesting from the other room shouting, slamming the door, kids screaming like crazy both early in the morning and afternoon!
3. When I reflect this bad experience with trip.com customer service, this hotel responded like they have no fault at all and played with words. This attitude makes us feel like being fooled. We paid money to expect to stay in an apartment with privacy and quiet environment but indeed we had such a bad experience!
In this market, if it’s an adjoining unit, they should not charge at the rate as if it’s an entire apartment.
I’m alright that they rejected to refund the extra amount they charged. Just have to reflect the facts in the review.

GGuest UserI stayed on the same day ten years ago, and I chose it for this. The hotel is actually a villa, far from the town, it takes 18 minutes to drive from the town's big supermarket, and it is five kilometers away, near Lake Tekapo. There is no light pollution, it is a great place to watch the Galaxy at night. Five rooms, with ten beds in size, suitable for small teams, no single rental. The facilities are the same as ten years ago, and they are very old. You can chop firewood fireplace, cook well-equipped, away from the town, you must communicate at a service point in the town to understand the specific location and route of the hotel, and you must buy enough food in the town supermarket. The hotel has no signal, but there is WiFi.
