Arrived at the hotel at 18:00, no one was there to receive me, I had to call someone to come, I paid cash, it was ok! Anyway, you can sleep there, no one will pay attention to you. The pictures looked pretty good, and at a Winter price of $151 AUD for one night (2 people) I thought it'd be nice. Wrong. The room was clean enough, but it is so tired and overdue for a makeover that it felt grubby. Things were broken and the whole property was underwhelming and misrepresented in the photos I've seen. There are negative reviews online, but the ones I saw were a couple of years old so I gave the place the benefit of time. We did not see any staff. The key was in the door upon arrival (which was notified in good time), and next morning it was dropped into a key box. Since our stay 2 nights ago we have stayed in another 2 motels, both $20-$30 cheaper, both in tourist towns, and both 100% better.

Disgusting and dirty
The room was very dirty. It smelled really disgusting. We found over 10 spiders on the walls and a lot of cobwebs. The walls were yellow in several places and smeared with dead insects. On top of that, it was old and worn both inside and out. By far the worst motel we've stayed at during our trip to Australia.
