Excellent experience - room, staff and meals were outstanding. Been going there for 20+ years. My wife and I will certainly return.

This is by far the nicest place I have ever stayed. It is clear they pay attention to every detail and they strive for perfection. They delivered a box of chocolates and 4 bottles of bottled spring water for my birthday without me telling them the occasion. The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating and went out of their way to be helpful. The facility is gorgeous and is expertly maintained. Our suite was roomy and clean. This was my second stay at this resort and I will definitely be back.

My wife and I are from Europe staying / working in US for a couple of years and travelling as much as possible. We booked this as a short break not really knowing what it was. It is magnificent! Amazing location with great facilities (pool, beach, spa..) with beautiful views across the lake and really close to the village. Just brilliant. Stayed in a lot of hotels and would really recommend this one.

Loved it here. I typically stay in 4 star and above hotels. This location is key. 1 block from town, but a world away. Very little street traffic, no town noise, and you didn't need to struggle to find parking or feed a meter (we saw tickets being written EVERY day we were there). Leave the car behind and walk to all. This was very luxurious for less $ than I typically spend. I had a standard king room with a lake view. The room was immaculate to the point of being sanitized. We were on the top floor, and could see the lake and mountains beyond. Sliding doors in a separate seating area let the outdoors in without going out onto an exposed porch. Check in/out was by text and super easy. Staff was attentive, food was tasty and well prepared. The lake side beach was private, uncrowded and quiet. I admire the owners of this hotel for specifically stating that children are expected to behave as "little ladies and gentlemen." Parents got the message. Despite quite a few young children being at this hotel, they were all well behaved. No one whining or screaming, no running through the restaurant, and if someone was having a break down, parents removed them immediately. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was fabulous! We stayed in L4, on the lake. Charming and romantic! Food was outstanding, restaurant and bar exquisite. And the spa…. I felt like a princess! Great attention to every detail to make this an absolutely memorable experience. Thank you!

Have stayed here many times and had a gift certificate for this trip; love the rooms with king size bed on 4th floor but very expensive. Great place to be pampered but would not routinely stay here given the cost. They do have everything available and people are friendly, although the last several times I've been to the Cottage, I've been disappointed with their staff and service. Many better, walkable, and less expensive places in town
