Grafton Lodge is the kind of place that makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. Tucked into the trees and just a 10-minute walk from Lake Lure, it’s perfectly located for exploring, but quiet enough to truly unwind. Kim and Richard are the heart of it all, warm and welcoming and full of local stories. If you stay, do yourself a favor and add on breakfast. Rich makes it himself, using local ingredients, and serves it up with a side of great conversation. It’s the kind of stay that stays with you.

Wonderful place!
This was such a cute bed and breakfast! It was personable while giving you your own privacy. We are definitely staying here anytime we plan a trip to this location! The owners Rich and Kim make you feel like long time friends or part of their family.

The location was great very close to lake lure beach . The lodge was very clean and comfortable . The owners were super friendly and accommodating . Will stay again.

We could not stay there very long, but we loved when we got to the room that they had a fire going. The room was lovely, and it felt very cozy. We got in late and were given a code to get into the room. After reading all the great reviews, we were very disappointed we had to leave before breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.

My room was so cozy. An electric fireplace warmed up the room just perfect. The room had a balcony and the area is so quiet.
