The environment is beautiful, the room is clean and the facilities are ok, but I am very dissatisfied with the extra deposit charged by the front desk. We booked two nights in the hotel, different room types, and a deposit of 200 Canadian dollars was collected when we checked in. Later, the front desk said that the room type can be adjusted, and we can stay in the same room for two nights. But I need to pay another 100 Canadian dollars deposit, and the hotel will immediately unfreeze the 200 Canadian dollars deposit I paid before. But three days later, we have checked out and left the hotel, but we have not received a text message from the bank about unfreezing the 200 Canadian dollars. I hope Ctrip will follow up on this matter.

Our family of three stayed in a suite. There was a microwave and some dishes in the room. The toilet and bathroom were also quite large. The scenery outside the room was beautiful. It was surrounded by woods and very quiet. Snow-capped mountains could be seen in the distance. There was also a balcony where we could sit and drink and chat. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on the day we stayed there.

Hotels near Lake Louise are ridiculously expensive and the price-performance ratio is really not high. This one is okay, but it is also the second best choice when there is no other choice.

We had a great stay! The staff were incredibly nice and always made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect—within walking distance of Lake Louise, which saved us from paying for expensive parking. It’s also close to stunning trails, yet quiet and peaceful. Plus, it’s conveniently near a grocery store, restaurants, and a café. I would definitely recommend this place!

This hotel was comfortable and cozy. We had plenty of room and all of the amenities we could ask for. The room was clean and well cared for. The coffee, oatmeal, and granola bars in the room were a nice touch. We loved being able to walk to Lake Louise (takes about 20 minutes). The front desk staff were extremely helpful and it was great that we could rent bear spray.

We stayed here specifically to be able to walk to Lake Louise and it worked perfectly. We were able to walk in about 20 minutes and save ourselves the hassle of parking and escape the Disney-like crowds at the end of the day. The lodge itself was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they have their own private transport that you can book to Moraine Lake if you don’t book early enough to get a reservation with Parks Canada or want to avoid the crowds (at least while getting to and from the lake - they cannot be avoided at the lake). We had a standalone cabin, which was great for quiet and privacy. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked well. The only thing to be aware of is that the metal in the heating element clicks when it cools off, so if you’re super noise sensitive, bring some ear plugs. Overall, a great stay.

This is the place to stay if you want to be able to walk to Lake Louise and avoid the hassle of the bus. The lodge and cabins are so cute and beautifully maintained both inside and out. We had a 2 bedroom lodge which was perfect to give our teenage daughter her own space. There’s a little area between the two bedrooms with a coffee maker, microwave as well as plates and cutlery. The balcony we had overlooks the road and the mountains so there is car noise on the balcony, but once the door is shut (and of course at night) it’s very quiet. If you’re sensitive to noise just ask for one on the other side or take a cabin. You can book the bbq and cook up a steak for dinner to save going into town as it really is so lovely here. Theres a table and bench seats by the bbq and we had a lovely evening. Takes about 15 mins to walk to Lake Louise alongside a pretty stream.

We stayed at Paradise Lodge and Bungalows. This was a perfect place to stay to visit Lake Louise. It is a short walk to the lake - 20 minutes. If you do not walk or bike to Lake Louise, you must take a shuttle or try to find a parking spot at the lake. Staying here made the visit to the lake more enjoyable. We stayed here for 3 days. We had a cabin at the back of the property with one queen bed and a sofa bed. We had 2 adults and 2 children but probably only fits 3 comfortably. We used Paradise as a base camp to visit Yoho NP, Hike Johnston Canyon and visit Canmore. There is not much in Lake Louise village so you will want to bring food to cook in cabin. The cabins are clean, the staff friendly! Quiet property away from the crowds.

Great view, calm and peaceful, rustic feel yet with with clean and modern rooms. We slept very well and woke up to have our morning coffee on the back porch to the sound of birds and view towards the pines and the mountains. Only a 20min. walk to Lake Louise. Cannot believe this pace has been around since the 40s!
