The price is top-notch. But there is not even a bottle of water in the room, and there is no water in the lobby. There is no supermarket there, so you can buy it in the mall downstairs. I am so disappointed. I have stayed in so many high-end hotels, but this one is really low cost performance. I’m in awe of Canada’s nature, but the hotel left me rather disappointed, especially compared to other hotels. Some floors were closed for renovations, which significantly affected the quality of my sleep. During my entire stay, I didn’t get a single full night’s sleep because all the noisy work was done from 8 PM onwards, often lasting indefinitely. Sometimes I woke up to the noise at 1 AM, which was, of course, very unpleasant—especially considering we weren’t warned about it or offered any discount for the inconvenience. The service was also quite mediocre. We constantly had to ask for things—there were no creams, no soap, or something else missing in the room.
