I attempted to book a room for the end of September, as continued business in the area necessitated several visits over the course of a month. The reservations system changed the requested stay dates to the date I booked the reservation and not the date requested. I immediately corrected the issue and received confirmation of such less than three minutes after the initial glitch; however, the hotel charged a cancellation fee two days later and refused to process a refund, citing that I cancelled the room the day of arrival and not 24 hours prior. Do yourself a favor. Avoid this place like the plaque. Management cares nothing about guests and refuses to follow up on any issue. Marriott Elite customer service is a joke as well. Not even an email to Mariott’s VP of Customer Relations elicited a response.

Room was clean. Staff was great and the bar tenders Nick and Peg make the best Old Fashions around. He polishes the glass and does such a professional job you don’t expect at a Courtyard. (No offense lol). Walking distance to restaurants and more.

Had a great 5 night stay in this hotel while in town for business. Staff was friendly, rooms were well kept, QUIET and clean! Close to food. Some what easy access from highway depending on direction of travel. I would highly recommend this hotel for travel and business.

Manager has no respect for customers, will refuse to accept or return calls. I was over charged on my room, the night staff said it would be corrected in the morning, the morning staff said it was not able to be corrected, the manager wouldn’t speak to me. I stay at hotels for over 200 nights a year, I choose Marriott brands when available. I have never had a manager with such a disregard for customer service as Steve Ridenour. Contact corporate if you have issues with this location as the manager is unwilling to communicate with customers.

This is the nicest Courtyard Property I've ever been to. They went the extra mile with putting rocks glasses in bedrooms, actual coffee mugs in bedrooms, nice furniture, a very nice bar and bistro area in the lobby, above average gym equipment, and a very cool hang out spot out back by the pool with a large gas fireplace. Additionally, the staff is also the best of any hotel in the area hands down. The manager, Richard, keeps his customers and staff happy, and everything running smoothly.

I had a wonderful experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Lake Jackson. Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Bistro Bar staff and food served is amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone Thank you!
